Responsibilities:
• Working as an internee.
• Configuring simple Database as well as ASM Grid infrastructure in Linux OS.
• Installs, configures and maintains database instances, creates various database objects, creates users with appropriate roles and levels of security on multiple platforms.
• Manage and apply Oracle patches, upgrades.
• Daily monitoring and analysis of systems to ensure 24x7 stable operations.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day database issues to ensure system stability and throughput.
• Ensure database backups are working as per backup & recovery policy, frequently verifying recovery process.
• Implementing Database security policy and ensure that database access is protected.
• Provides Oracle DBA support and technical support for multiple applications in development, test, staging and production environments.
• Performs Oracle database performance analysis, capacity planning, system sizing and ongoing maintenance/tuning to ensure maximum performance.
• Research and development on new database related technologies and approaches.
• Data Migration using data pump, export and import utility
• Strong knowledge of all complex database management system s / technologies, tools, methodologies and their applicability to solving business problems.
• Strong knowledge of large scale highly available infrastructure components including servers, storages, media management S/W and disaster recovery.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing technologies and business requirements.
• Able to interact effectively with internal customers and external vendors to produce service excellence in the area of Database Administration

• Implemented Oracle 10 Database Administration by using Linux OS.
