(Scope of Work: Mine Processing Plant, Infrastructure facilities, Office Buildings, Roads, Rail loop, Transmission Line, Pumps & reservoirs, etc..)
Being a Project Control Engineer, I was responsible for preparation of Master Schedule for the program that includes, Buildings, Roads, Rails, Mine, Processing Plant, etc., Monitoring & control of the schedule updates, periodic report, subcontractor´s Schedule Analysis, lookaheads, following up and communication.

Implementation of Primavera P6 and Primavera Contract Management (PCM)
• Tripoli International Airport Project Tripoli- Libya
Implementation of Primavera P6 and Primavera Contract Management (PCM) system in project change management module; variations, change orders, Cost Worksheet, cost codes. Also reports customization using Infomaker. Keeping records of all change management phases and updating status.
Working as Planning /Scheduling Engineer my responsibilities include planning tasks being in Core planning team. Planning tasks include development of project management plan, identification of scope of work, creating resource loaded schedule incorporation cost and cost accounts, project plan documentation and reporting, resource mobilization plan, monitoring & controlling Baseline schedule
o Using state of the art tools & techniques, his skills in Planning & Scheduling include:
Planning the scope and deliverables in a project schedule.
Develop project-coding structures to establish a standard reporting procedure.
Forecast the impacts on the Schedule while monitoring the project.
Identify issues, changes and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze potential bottlenecks and suggest solutions proactively.
Monitoring & controlling a schedule within the constraints of scope, time, & resources.
Progress and Status reporting to the management with current status, forecast and cash flow.
o Project Management Information System expertise in:
Project Management and Methodology Management (Project Lifecycle / Template development) using Primavera.
Web-based Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management & Collaboration using Primavera Web.
Contract Administration & Document Control using Primavera Contract Manager.
Other Planning tools: MS Project, IBM Rational Portfolio Manager, IBM Business Processes Modeller, Project Maker, Open workbench
o Responsibilities include, Implementing Primavera solutions, Primavera P6 and Primavera Contract Manager and working on various report writing tools such as Infomaker.
o Provided Primavera P6 and PCM (Primavera Contract Manager) implementations to MAYADEEN, BUNIYA, FORCE 10, MANAZEL
• Sequence tasks and create detailed task codes to track progress using Primavera P6/ P5
• Progress and Status reporting to the management with current status, forecast and cash flow portfolio
• Develop a construction plan / schedule / budget which maximizes the efficiency of available resources of the projects to meet the needs of our clients
• Create schedules and establish baselines by identifying scope and work break down (WBS) /Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in concert with Project Manager.
• Create hour and duration estimates from Productivities or equipment and labor and efficiency factors and environmental effect
• Develop detailed project schedule and track progress
• Reviews and audit own schedules and contractor schedule and plans control procedures and practices.
• Participates in weekly project reviews / schedule meetings
• Perform Resource Loading / Levelling tasks
• Develop Earned Value (EV) Reporting
• Identifies schedule trends, bottlenecks, and deviations and recommends corrective courses of action.
• Provide meaningful, accurate historical data.
• Develop cost estimates and identify variances and risk conditions
• Develop detailed project budgets
• Create detailed cost reports and cash flow projections for project teams
• Reviews drawings and quantities and ensures that the calculations are accurate for the work
• Ensures that requisitions for materials and equipment are communicated in a timely manner to Head Office
• Plans the work and efficiently organizes the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Ensures that levels of quality and safety standards are up to standards

Working as Planning Engineer my responsibilities were to assist in project management of the projects, preparations of schedule using Primaver 5.0, data exchange from P3 to P5, plan document preparations.
