Auditing
Involved in the audit of companies operating in the field of Textiles, Engineering, Housing Projects, Hospitals, Travel Agencies, Brokerage Houses at stocks exchange, Pharmaceutical, I performed as job in-charge, senior, semi-senior, work included;
• Assessing and reporting on internal controls.
• Audit risk Assessment, Calculation of materiality level.
• Audit planning and time budgeting.
• Performing the audit tests.
• Performing and documentation of audit tests of various areas e.g. cash & bank, fixed assets, debtors, creditors, income & expenditure, post balance sheet events and going concern assessment.
• Referring evidential issues to management, demonstrating risk awareness by notifying frauds, maintaining effective levels of communication with management and clients of audit progress and issues.

Statutory & Management Accounts
Prepared a number of statutory and management accounts. The assignments included sole trader ships, partnerships and limited companies with a turnover ranging from 1 million to 100 million Pak rupees. The task included;
• Analysing bank and preparing bank reconciliation statements.
• Calculating accruals and prepayments.
• Preparing the trial balance and final accounts.
• Presenting the financial statements to the directors/practice manger and finalising them.

Supervising the accounting system and managing day to day internal audit operations, role highlights included;
• Dealing with monthly management accounts and all financial reports.

• Creating a simple spreadsheet for cash flow management and key performance indicators.

Cash flow management and Credit Control

• Parties’ evaluation for the purpose to check the financial viability/payback capacity of the credit required.
• Report and finalize the product/parties evaluation with managers.
• Prepare the reconciliation of creditors.
• Setting up and implementing the credit control system.
• Inter-company accounts and reconciliations.
