• Installation and commissioning of many of devices in rolling mill. Electrical and Electronics devices both.
• Selection of drive and motor with respect of requirement of rolling mill.
• Supervise and handle the problem occur during the operation of rolling mill.
• Controlling and operating main desk panel for operation of rolling mill.
• Readjust the cutting length of Bar, Download different schedule of different size of bar by HMI.
• Maintenance of DC separate exited motors, range of 200kw to 300kw.
• Maintenance of AC Induction motors, range of 1kw to 1500kw.
• Maintenance of crane included long travel motors with drive, Cross travel motors with drive and hoist motor with drive. Also maintain the magnet of crane using to bring billets from stoke to charging great.
• Maintain 200 AC induction motors of Rolling Table.
• Work on Siemens Dc drive used for share stand 1 & 2 Dc motors.
• Work on control connection for controlling purpose.
• Checking and maintain Generator of rating 500kw.
• Set the setting of Auto Transformer with respect of requirement of mill.
• Making connection of AC motors for reveres and forward motion, also Star and Delta connection.
• Maintain line speed, cooling bed speed, deviator setting with respect to drop wall and magnet timing.
• Making daily report for down time.
• Work on PLC of Siemens S7 400, S7 300, S7 200.
• Work on Siemens drives AC and DC and other delta drive.
• Maintain all types of switches such as limit switch, flow switch, level switch.
• Work on different sensors such as Proximity, Photocell.
I have done an internship in Siemens Engineering Company in Pakistan, in department of Field service; sub department is I&C (instrumentation and controlling). As a internee I had worked in repair lab in Siemens and got the knowledge of repairing devices such as UPS (uninterrupted power supply), simoreg drive (dc drive), simovert drive (ac drive) and also got the knowledge of production of transformer step by step and visually seen all process . Learn about thermography that how engineers finds fault in Transformer (light fitted connection causes heat up the joint) and also used for checking PLC external wiring connection and I had learned about Siemens PLC’s.
I have scholarships by own university in every semester . i have internships experience in Siemens Pakistan Engineering. co. in business unit of field service and in the department of instrumentation & controlling. in the duration of internship i have work on s7 (200,300,400) and s5 (100u,115u,135u,150u,155u) p.l.c ( programmable logic controller ). i have also an experience to work on Siemens drives, master drives & micro master. i was also repairing all kind of electronic and electrical devices in our home such as iron, main supply switch board, water pumps, computer( hardware/software), stabilizer etc.
