I’m working in material warehouse of Fatima Fertilizer Company Ltd. Pakistan. My duties involve
• Management of Warehouse, Inventory, Stores, Raw Materials, Projects through ERP.
• Procedures from initiating of MOR (Material Order Request) till material is received.
• Material Master Data Management (Creation, Deletion, Modifications in Item Catalogue)
• Review of Slow or Non Moving, Obsolete Items and Write off Materials.
• Managing inventory for easy identification of materials.
• Arranging deliveries of material to various plant locations.
• Preparing reports of material for the procurement department on monthly basis.
• Ensure that all materials are properly coded and placed in its respective storage areas/ bins.
• Keeping a check on inventory Control of critical items by maintaining perpetual Inventory on Daily basis.
• Dealing all kind of Loan & Borrow queries through proper usage of documents i.e. MIV, RRV, MRV etc.
• Day to day email composition regarding material exceptions, MER Initiation & MER Settlement, correspondence with different Departments such as Procurement, Indenter, End User etc.
• Review of various reports i.e. daily report of all items falling below reorder point and follow up for its reordering and Informing procurement department for NIL inventory/ out of stock situation for critical material.
• Review & Follow up of other Reports such as Civil Construction Material Report (CCM), Pending Material Inspection Report (MIR), Material Order Report, Zero Inventory Report, Chemical Report, Lubricant Report, Catalyst Report, Pending Material Exception Report MERs etc.
• Supervision of annual turnaround activities by close coordination for smooth operations of warehouse.
• Perform Quarterly, Semi & yearly audits of materials with internal & external auditors and reply to the queries of auditors, if any.
• Familiar with Procurement cycle i.e. RFQ, CST, PO, Reports: R1, R2, etc.
• Strengthening vendor source and developing alternate source of suppliers by comparing issued POs.
• Evaluating & negotiating with vendors for price & various other terms & conditions through review of CST/ material already procured.
• Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criteria’s such as quality/technology improvement in rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards for all incoming materials.
• Full command over module related to warehousing in ERP ver. R12.
Worked as a Assistant Manager for busy retail store (Norfolk News & Convenience Store) in Glasgow, deals in day to day necessities in addition to news paper and Paypoint services. Taking initiatives by introducing new products with the rapid change of time and accepting challenges to cope with the deadline were the key responsibilities and duties by means of reducing expenses and finding resources to run store smoothly and efficiently. Taking notes of all contracts i.e. utility bills, insurances and renewals were under my observation. Managing staff, stock and other resources within the Store to ensure that it achieves best possible performance and operates in line with store policies, procedures and relevant legislations.
Worked as Software Engineer in Software House “ Xcel Soft ”. While working with the company I worked on different modules given on web development and other phases of software engineering.
