• Completed OFAN-I(Optical Fiber Access Network) Up-gradation Project
.For this Old ONU (Rack & Shelf) replaced by New MSAG 5200 supporting multimedia services HSI, IP TV, VOIP, ISDN. My responsibility is to configure MSAG (version up gradation, HSI, IPTV, VOIP Service configuration).

• Completed PTCL Batteries & Power Project
Served as Project Manager in this project & Managed TI & Commissiong of rectifiers & battery systems.

• Working on PTCL NGN C5 Project
PTCL decided to replace its old PSTN Network with ZTE C5.I was involved in this project as Project Manager as well as Commissioned some sites as well. My responsibility was to configure MSAG, ZXR10 (2829) switches(link aggregation, STP), media connectivity, testing system PAT & Cutovers.

My management duties are mentioned below briefly.

Responsibilities:
• Managing the execution of the entire project.
• Interfacing with all internal departments of the organization of the project.
• Analyzing the progress of the delivery, performance, cost control, quality, etc.
• Communicate the strategy to the team, monitoring and controlling the implementation.
• Supervising and supporting the regional team for the implementation of the delivery schedule and for the commitment of the subcontractors.
• Plan daily tasks and schedule the work / projects accordingly.

Worked with Ericsson Pakistan on Managed Services WARID Core Networks O&M, in the domain of Switching MSC/MSC-S/VLR, MGW, BSC, HLR, STP (AXE 810 R11/R12 APZ 212 33C/40/50, APG40C2/C4)


• Operation & Maintenance of all Ericsson’s CORE nodes.
• Core nodes health checks on daily and weekly basis.
• Performed Preventive Maintenance Routines (PMR) including CDR backup, CP (212 33c/40/50) backup, APG40 (C2/C4) backup and MGW backups using FTP.
• Worked on Ericsson BSC for handling O&M activities of Ericsson BTS/RBS.
• Performed/Participation in planned activities like life line of BSCs and MSCs, faulty Hardware replacement and power cycle (Including CP APZ 212 33c/50, APG40 C2, boards XDB, RPG3, RPP, POWC, FAN unit, etc ) using set procedure.
• Alarm handling and first level trouble shooting/escalation of CORE nodes faults.

• Coordination with different departments for resolution of alarms.
• Initial start up and testing of AXE nodes (CP 212 33C, 212 40, 212 50, APG40 C2 and APG40 C4 with OS WIN NT and WIN2003).
• Project co-ordination for installation and commissioning ERICSSON nodes.
• International Call testing and resolving IR issues with back office team.
• Performed calls testing like Basic, detailed, inbound /outbound roamer scenarios, New Dialing Code (NDC) testing, International Roaming etc and trouble shooting.
• EIR management IMEI blocking and De-blocking on Warid network.
• Active involvement during major CP / APG upgrades.
