Hidd Power Company is a subsidiary of Engie.
Operation of Bahrain’s largest Desalination & Power Plant with Siemens PCS7 and ABB DCS. The Plant is producing 975 MWe power energy and 90MIGPD water through 5x136 MWe gas turbine, steam turbine 300 MWe, 10 MEDs (each 6 MIGPD) and 4 MSFEs (each 7.5 MIGPD).
HPC plant has 3 phases:
Phase-1 consists 2 Gas Turbine of Alstom (ABB) GT13E2 with cogeneration 2 HRSG’s (by ABB) of 330t/h (each) of steam generation, one Auxiliary Boiler (by ABB) of 350t/h steam generation, 4 MSFEs (by Fisia Italimpianti, Italy) of each 7.5MIGDP. Phase-1 also has 3 sea water supply pumps of each 37000 m3/h.
Phase-2 consists 3 Gas Turbine of Alstom (ABB) GT13E2 & 3 HRSG’s (by ABB) with supplementary firing of 410t/h (each) of steam generation and 1 condensing Steam Turbine (ABB) of 300MWe LP steam extraction type (LP steam for Phase-3 Desalination units). Phase-2 also has sea water supply pumps of each 18000 m3/h.
Phase-3 consists 3 Auxiliary Boilers (by Machi) of 250t/h steam generation and 10 MED’s (by SIDEM) of 6 MIGPD each water productions, Phase-3 also receive steam from Phase-2 steam turbine LP extraction. Phase-3 also has 3 sea water supply pumps of each 40000 m3/h.
• A CO2 production plants with each 1500kg/h capacity.
• 3 Black start diesel generators with each 2.5MW capacity.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (11+YEARS)

Sept., 2013 - Present: Jubail O&M Ltd. (Power and Desalination Plant)
Currently I am working as Control Room & Field Operator (as per company need/wherever require) in Jubail O&M Ltd (A subsidiary of GDF Suez/ENGIE) MARAFIQ IWPP Power and Desalination Plant Al-Jubail, kingdom of Saudi Arabia (world largest IWPP).
This is world largest IWPP (Water & Power) Complex with GE MARK-VIe Turbine control system. The Plant is producing 2880 MWe power energy and 800, 000m3/day water through 12x151 MWe gas turbines, steam turbines 250x3 MWe & 01x350 MWe and 27 MED units
It has four (04) power blocks and water it has 27 MED units divided into 3 blocks.
• First three power blocks are connected with MED type Desalination units(27) and have following configuration
• Total 03x03 (150 MWe Frame 7FA, GE Gas Turbine) and 03x03 Dual fuel Auxiliary fired drum HRSG having 475 T/h each steam generator capacity and 03x01 steam turbine 250 MWe and 09x03 MED units
• Power block-4 has 03 (150 MWe Frame 7FA, GE Gas Turbine) and 03 Dual fuel Auxiliary fired 3 drum HRSG having 375 T/h each steam generator capacity and one Triple Pressure Condensing steam turbine 350 MWe.
• 5 fuel Gas Compressor of Atlas Copco each 125 lb/s capacity.
• 3 CO2 production plants with each 285kg/h capacity.
• 2 N2 production plants with each 25SCF capacity.
• 2 H2 production plants with 10kg/h capcity.
• 3 Black start diesel generators with each 4.2MW capacity.
• Gas Insulated substation 380kV of one and half circuit breaker scheme.
• 3 Mixed Bed Polisher of 320t/h.
• Close cycle cooling water system.
• Sea Water Circulating Water system.
• Dump Condenser and Dearating Condenser system.
• 6 Emergency Diesel Generators of Each 1.6MW.

 Operation of Sodium Hypochlorite Generation Plant (Electro Chlorination system) for Shock dosing and Continues dosing of Sodium Hypochlorite to Sea Water Intake.
