As a Project Manager my Job responsibilities are as follows:
o As a Project Manager, responsible for the successfully delivery of the Swap & Expansion projects related to wireless networks of various operators in the region
o Implementation of the weekly/monthly network Rollout Plans
o Meetings with customer in detail for arrangement of resources related to Swap projects, Pending issues & updating status of Swap Project progress
o Responsible for Project Quality Assurance as per customer approved quality standards
o Planning & recruitment of the project human resource
o Participating in daily, weekly/monthly meeting with customers related to swap projects
o Coordination with Operator for installation & Commissioning of new sites
o Preparation/review of BOQ and Delivery Note for Equipment
o Preparation of Acceptance plan and then perform acceptance
o Responsible for the project reporting, preparation of daily, weekly reports for the customers
Major Job responsibilities have been to Plan and Implement the following
o Wireless Swap projects rollout, turnkey projects rollout management
o Coordination with Du & Huawei for the swap rollout & new sites commissioning
o Data Configuration, testing & Commissioning of Huawei BTS3900 and NodeB3900
o Participating in daily meeting with Huawei team related to swap Projects preparations
o Preparation of daily project progress reports & reporting to Huawei
o Primary interface with Huawei team for the swap project rollout
o Daily resources management for the swap activities & new sites Commissioning
o Installation supervision of Huawei BSS Products i.e. BTS3900, BTS3900A, DBS3900 as per quality standards
o Managing LOS Survey, Node B & RNC sites surveys
o Managing Microwave Installation alignment configuration and software up gradation of RTN620/RTN610
o Managing the successful implementation of the acceptance plans of BTS sites & NodeB and ensuring the sites acceptances
o Review of the sites delivery notes provided by Huawei and ensuring equipment availability on sites as per the delivery notes
o Coordination of BSS activities with cross functional teams (NSS/RF Engineering/Civil/Electrical/Transmission).
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Hardware installation supervision & Commissioning of the Ericsson GSM & WCDMA RBS
o Hardware installation supervision & Commissioning of Huawei BTS3900/A, DBS & NodeB
o Hardware installation supervision of In Building solutions (IBS) of Alcatell, Huawei & Ericsson for operators in the region
o Deployment of transmission links and Access node MSAG & DSLAM equipments
o Coordination with BRAS, NGN & PIE for commissioning of DSLAM & MSAG
o Testing of Triple Play services of Etisalat and transmission link
o Installation, Data Configuration, Testing & Commissioning of Access Nodes DSLAM and MSAN
o Coordination with Customer for the commissioning of the new access nodes.
o Preparation of the script files in accordance to the network data sheet for field commissioning staff and upload the Access node configuration through NMS.
o Coordination with the customer in order to know their requirement regarding implementation.
o Data Configuration, testing & Commissioning of BTS3900, NodeB3900
o BSS Call drop problem, VSWR problem and faulty equipments problem resolution
o Performing Acceptance Testing for BTS sites & NodeB as per Plans
o Ensuring & properly maintaining the list of all highlighted snags during acceptance testing
o Managing the snags rectifications highlighted during the snags
o Collect data for preparation of weekly progress report on project activities and technical issues reported to customer.
• Oversee day to day operations and maintenance activities of the GSM/CDMA BSS networks.
• Network inspection, performance measurement & monitoring to meet KPIs
• BSS management for the Network operation technically and administratively for the preventive and corrective maintenance ensuring the BSS KPI of the network
• Initiate Preventive and Reactive Maintenance based on the plan (preventive) or based on the node performance degradation (corrective)
• Co-ordination with RF, NSS, OMC to isolate and fix the problem, etc
• Call testing, Link testing and Performance Analysis of new sites.
• Increasing the BTS capacity by no. of carrier and up-gradation
• Monitoring the various alarms and observes the performance condition of all sites
• Observes the performance of the BTS and provide critical and complex problem rectification support
• Quality Control checks to observe and implement Huawei Standards, interacting with senior managers and customer time to time for PAT(Provisional Acceptance Test) causing high degree of satisfaction
