Review Contract Scope of work, Project Quality Plan (PQP), Quality Control Procedures
Witness material receiving inspections at ware house, prior release for fabrication.
Conduct inspection of piping and fittings receiving inspection.
Inspection of materials and verify proper storage of pipe fittings handlings and preservation.
Witness piping line check and prepare punch list.
Check prior to installation, pipe supports and special supports.
Verify alignment of piping connections, fit-up etc, Piping fabrication, Erection, Installation and prepare inspection report.
Monitor and inspects nuts and stud bolts as per BOM (bill of materials) and correct size and type, and all the pipe and pipe supports installed according to the approved drawing and specification.
Visual inspection of flanges, gaskets, and bolts, prior to installation.
Package review and monitor the test package is in accordance with the approved procedure.
Inspection of valve, type of valves, direction of valve installed, valve handle, orientation, valve tag number, flange rating & size, vales operation and maintenance access.
Audit the sub-contractor to verify that the QA/QC approved forms are used and the quality of work is properly verified and documented, and prepare finding and report.
Perform inspection and test activities including supervision monitoring of entire activities a site and prepare reports.
Prepare punch items, prior to release for hydro testing according to the punch list category.
Review hydro test package to ensure that the NDT summary, weld summary, weld map, support drawing, valve list, approved drawing duly marked the test limits, P &Id marked with test boundaries, check list, and all the related documents are attached in the test package as per the project requirements.
Site supervision of works, monitoring and control of construction activities related to schedule and critical milestone dates.
Responsible for supervision, inspection and quality control of entire mechanical activities, such as erection of steel structure, pump alignments, static equipment erection inspections, ducting, insulation hot & cold, and structural bolt tightening inspection.
QA/QC Engineer- Gained experience on Various Projects in THERMAL POWER PLANT (Boiler Pressure Parts& Critical Piping) construction.
Knowledge of various codes like ASME Sec V, VIII, IX, API 1104, ASME B31.3& ASME B31.1
Experienced in Preparation of WPS and conducting the WPQT and PQR.
Interpretation of Radiograph
Witnessing of UT, MPT & LPT
