Job Responsibilities-
• Prepare Business Plans for probable scenarios and analyse the implications.
• Prepare the Budget by monitoring the task of sub-ordinates and accumulating to final Pack.
• Review and recommend on the preparation of monthly/ quarterly/ yearly financial statements in line with IFRSs/IASs
• Preparing monthly forecasts
• Calculate customer incentive/commission
• Evaluate cost and revenue lines vs budgets, variance analysis and recommending corrective actions
• Assess and Improve internal controls of the company
• Analyzing the variances with Budget or previous periods by establishing the trends and identifying the fluctuations
• Preparing Board papers
• Established financial schedules, which can explain every line item of FS and indicate where to concentrate and improve.
• Worked in SAP implementation as Project Manager.
Sample Duties:
* Resolution of accounting/technical issues raised by clients.
* Keep up-to-date with any changes or planned changes to international accounting standards (IFRS and IAS), local GAAP’s, international or local standards on auditing (ISA/BSA) or other pronouncements and understand their impact upon the audit strategy.
* Understand, evaluate and test the design and operation of accounting and internal control systems, offering recommendation for any weaknesses noted.
Sample Duties:
* Prepare lecture notes and course plan for the classes
* Prepare questions of mock exams.
Optional papes: P4 (Advanced Financial Management) and P7 (Advanced Audit and Assurance).
