Responsible for managing Quality Standards Certification and Process Audit Functions including Leadership and People Management, Goals/Targets Setting, Devising Processes & Procedures, KPIs and Performance Management, Budgeting, Process Reviews, etc.

Job Specifics:
• Planning and interpreting various requirements of Quality Standards Certification for the Group Companies.
• Designing systems and processes as per system requirements and its implementation for certification.
• Building competent, effective, efficient and result oriented team & organization.
• Periodic audit of systems and processes of all departments, with respect to systems requirements.
• Continuous working towards process improvement and strengthening in compliance with systems requirements.
• Liaising and interaction with certifying agencies on system requirement related issues, certification renewal matters, updates, etc.
• Apprising management about the new Quality Standards applicable to Company, if any, further requirements to improve on it, updates, etc, as and when occur.
• Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements.
• Providing overall guidance, leadership and strategic direction to the team/subordinates.
• Managing and supervising preliminary preparation for certification.
• Coordinating with all departments on process compliances, improvements, etc.
• Sharing the NCs/gaps in processes observed in process audits with respective functions for their review and rectification.
• Reviewing the CAPA submitted by process owner(s) to bridge the gaps in processes and its tracking, including CAPA review, implementation and post implementation verification.
• Maintaining complete record of Controlled Copies of processes, formats, manuals, policies, changes, etc.
• Incorporating the changes in the record, process, manual, formats, etc, if any, and auditing the same to verify its compliance.
• Timely intimation of any change, modification, addition, deletion, etc (if any) in the process to the process owner(s) for compliance.
• Periodic reporting on the performance of the systems with specific focus on areas of concerns, if any.
• Periodic counseling and awareness moves to the process owners to ensure the systems compliance.
• Budgeting and goals/targets setting.
• Any other job which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Practice Head - Quality & Product Development at NDDB Dairy Services

- Lead implementation of Quality and Food Safety in new projects from design stage through Project Management processes.
- Drive employee communication initiatives (Trainings) and Producer engagement initiatives at MPC to create awareness about the importance of adherence to Quality;

- Support Key Process capability improvement initiatives to improve performance against a range of key quality measures (KPI’s).

- Develop policies and standards to ensurequality of all milk and milk products processed and distributed from chilling centers / Contract manufacturers in various states adhere to NDDB / Food safety standards by assuring quality systems and processes with continuous improvement of the same.
- Continuously interface with the QA team of Producer Companies at various states, manufacturing sites and Procurement& marketing teamsas and when necessary for contract chilling centers operations, retail SKU’s packaging managements, warehousing &Supply Excellence.
- Facilitate approval of overall budget plan and Quality Spends for producer companies and monitor / control cost of poor Quality
- Set-up system & protocol for testing of milk & milk products from external laboratories.
- Coordinate external Audits of MPC’s by certification agencies, regulatory agencies and Funding Organizations.
- Monitor Quality & Food Safety audit results, support root cause analysis, monitor Corrective Action
- Lead local Supplier and Third Party Product audit programs.
