• L1 troubleshooting for new CCTs before delivering them to customer.
Analyze and clarify TT through troubleshooting and researching existing knowledgebase Articles/known issues and responsible for escalation to TAC/TEC and follow up.
Maintaining and updating the CARES Database with all the internal Tickets handled along with their resolutions.
Checking the NMS performance on weekly basis monitoring the disk usage, network sizing, cleaning the unused files, backup and restore on regular basis.
Open TT with respective TECs in case of the Bugs found and for all unresolved stringent issues.
Review cases for technical complexity and make recommendations to team members with regards escalation according to MNS best practice and in accordance to agreed SLA.
Responsible for site handover and expansion check verification and reporting.
Providing guidance to the team for any recommendation related to the technical issue and sharing the strong knowledge with team spirit.
Support when necessary in the critical Software Upgrades for all Network Elements and Patch installation and patch upgrades for NMS
• Troubleshooting and solving of all ADM1650, ADM1660SM, ADM1662, 1678MMC and Alcatel 1830 DWDM problems and opening TTs
• Troubleshooting of TXM path (E1, STM1-4-16-64 and FE, GB Ethernet Link’s) using SDH and Data analyzers.
• Implementing SOR and MDTs (for PDH, SDH Media) for Traffic rerouting, cutover and site r-homing.
• Execution of WO fixed in time (New fiber links, new E1 jumpers…)
• Optical Fiber Connections, Testing and Acceptance national and international Links (STM-1, STM4, STM-16 and STM-64) with OSP team
• Test and Acceptance of a new ADM SDH equipments (1660SM, 1662SMC, 1678MCC all releases),
• Upgrade Operations Follow-up and execution (ADM Releases, NM Releases….),
• Making tests on new national and international links (STM's circuits).
• Supervision of the national Backbone network (Transmission, Equipment and environment alarms) using 1353NM and 1354RM alarm monitors.
• MW links performances follow-up and proposition of solutions for faults.
• Creation and configuration new NEs using 1353NM.
• Handling Trouble tickets and reports and daily faulty report.
• Support system engineer on site in case of maintenance down time or any Maintenance activity and escalation the problem in case the problem still persists
• Monitoring alarms regularly on radio sites NEC & Alcatel-Lucent MW equipments (transmission and environment alarms).
