• To perform preventive, corrective and diagnostic maintenance on the process control systems and control loops such as Flow, Pressure, Level & Temperature.
• To remove, dismantle, overhaul/repair and install electric, pneumatic, electronic or hydraulic control system such as control valves and actuators, measuring and recording instruments in the field or in the workshop.
• To read & understand engineering drawings such as P&IDs, loop and logic drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Performs CMs & PMs, reports to supervisor about job status, keeping PM & CM log books up to date.
• Handing over job to upcoming shift with proper communication, if there is any.
• To comply with all company HSE policies, PTW procedures and be familiar with all safety hazards related to Oil/Gas Plants.

Working as a co team member as a senior instrument technician in Ras Lafan Power Company 750 MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT on Contract with descon engineering Ltd this job includes.
Attending daily Equipments defect appearing in the plant
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance in the Instrumentation and control field
Instrument calibrations
Field Instrument and controls related Troubleshooting
Executing field instrument modifications
To fulfill HSE related tasks
To maintain the plant performance through regular field Instruments maintenance

• Worked on ammonia, urea & utilities plants.
• To perform jobs on various types of pressure, level, temperature & flow instruments.
• To Perform calibrations of PH & conductivity analyzers.
• To work on compressors, boilers, HRSG & gas turbines.
• To Work on control systems DCS Honeywell, Bentley Nevada 3300, and CCC anti surge, mark V.
• To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment Policies as well as Work Permit procedures.
