- Negotiate and draft Consulting, License, Hardware and Cloud contracts based on Oracle policies, requests from customer.
- Respond to RFPs and coordinate the team effort when it concerns complex proposals.
- Analyze proposed contract terms and conditions and provide feedback to sales and customer on issues of concerns, as to recommend alternatives which are viable from a Business Practices perspective.
- Review and approve all orders and contracts that fall under the role assignment for proper revenue recognition
- Work closely with the different LoBs (Lines of Business) and stakeholders in order to improve work efficiency, Best-Practices and multiply opportunities.
- Work closely with Risk Management in order to mitigate potential risks to Oracle.
- Work closely with Sales to develop a realistic close plan for managed deals.
- Engaged in onsite negotiations in Egypt, Morocco and Algeria.
• Handle managed first class deals (above USD500k)
• Negotiate and draft complex Consulting contracts based on Oracle current policies, requests from customer and sales representatives.
• Analyze proposed contract terms and conditions and provide feedback to sales and customer on issues of concerns and recommend alternatives that are viable from a business Practices and revenue recognition point of view.
To support the Consulting organisation in negotiating complex contract with customers in line with defined Global Business Practices and Finance Policies providing them support and guidance during all the phases of the sales and contract cycle, negotiating and drafting the contracts and then following up the order process activities in GFIC to ensure the contract is timely processed and revenue recognized.
• Advising a wide variety of contracts, including Sales contracts, Lease contracts and distribution license agreements
• Providing legal consultation related to commercial Law: draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Conducting verbal and written communications in Arabic, English and French.
• Assisting in drafting of memorandums related to civil and commercial law.
