• New product development activities-Verification & execution of APQP / PPAP /FMEA.
• Leading and monitoring the VPS activity as a Zero defects module member.
• Awareness of welder qualification as per AWS Standards.
• Fabrication knowledge of Pressure vessels and Boilers as per AWS Standards.
• Responsible for Incoming Inspection of Machined, fabricated, Sheet metal, and FRP parts.
• Active Member of Six sigma Black belt Project on Arm Bore concentricity issue.
• Line Problem Analysis & Problem Solving by using 7QC tools.
• Inspection at vendor place to improve quality and reduce lead-time in manufacturing and delivery.
• Development of Local Vendors to reduce the BOM cost of machines.
• Scrutinizing Job Work items such as Castings and machined components to Quality.
• Performing Parts Audit at supplier end to reduce the Line quality issues.
• Performing Process Audit at supplier end to authenticate the processes.
• Knowledge of G8D, QRPS, SPC, MSA and CAPA.
• Knowledge of GD&T, QMS, TQM.
• Leading MRB & Analysis activity for all parts of Excavators and Road Machinery.
• Creating Rejection notification in SAP and communicate to all stake holders including suppliers.
• Awareness on calibration of measuring equipments & validation of fixtures.
• Operating of CMM (Romer) to inspect Heavy fabricated and machined parts.

Job Profile:
• Conducting through stage wise inspection as per procedure / codes as well as alignment.
• Estimation of inspection requirement after study of customer drawings.
• Conducting final inspection after finishing all stage wise operation.
• Preparing the inspection Check lists for critical parts.
• Inspection of first setting jobs.
• Checking of critical jobs by using of "CMM. (coordinate measuring machine) "
• Checking of end fittings by using of "Profile Projector"
• Handling of all type measuring instruments like micro meter, slip gauge, digital height master (trims), Air gauge, bore gauge, thread plug gauge, snap gauge and dials.
