Job Responsibilities:
Managing design team in Manila, and responsible for the following tasks:
• Review/check all the drawings and other corresponding documents before issuance to ensure compliance with the project requirements and design standards.
• Production of the various design elements split across the disciplines of Highways and Storm Water Drainage.
• Leading the design team ensuring that the design complies with the requirements of the contract documents and producing a technically competent, accurate and checked design.
• Signs design certification for each element of the works.
• Provides technical advice and be present at site and other meetings.
Lead Design Engineer responsible for the design and preparation of construction drawings, constructions specifications, and other related documents. Attended design meeting/coordination with the client/stakeholders. Prepared quotations/programme of works for speculative projects.
Review/check/sign construction drawings (per project basis).
Functioned as Civil/Highway Design Manager, managing remote offices, responsible for the following tasks:
Production of the various design elements split across the disciplines of Highways, Irrigation / Drainage Water Structures, Foul Sewerage and Utilities.
Leading the design team ensuring that the design complies with the requirements of the contract documents and producing a technically competent, accurate and checked design.
Signs the design certification for each element of the works.
Provides technical advice and be present at site and other meetings.
Assisted the RE and the ARE for the following task:
Checking of shop drawings and method statements.
Attending meeting with the client, ministries concern with the utility services affected by the project, and coordination meeting with the main contractor.
