• Job Role as Senior QA/QC Engineer:
Review all Architectural QA/QC relevant documents prior to submittal for approval to the client. e.g. Quality Control Procedures, Inspections & Test Plans, Construction Method Statements, Technical Queries, Material Supplier’s Profile, Material Strength Test Results, As-built Drawings, and Handover Dossiers.
Check and evaluate all Construction Materials to ensure compliance with Project Specifications and Quality Standards.
Perform quality inspections and construction supervisions for onsite and offsite works and coordinate deviations of site activities to contractors and to the client thru formal/informal correspondence.
Onsite works involve survey works, material tests, inspections and construction supervision for Buildings and Architectural works, stone works for (flooring, column, wall and ceiling), waterproofing and landscaping works.
Perform site audits for compliance to Field Quality Control Plan and verifies traceability and completeness of quality documents.
Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolving client/ engineering and management project issues.
Support the Project Manager to update the Project Checklist at the agreed Project update meetings.
Follow up the project time plan and update the Project Manager at the agreed Project Weekly meetings.
Assist in preparation of monthly commercial reports in conjunction with PM and site team.
Manage and secure that all hardcopy and soft copy of documents are well maintained for easy tracking.
Job Role as Project Engineer:
Formulated strategies and implement activities to achieved standard quality and specification.
Maintained and monitored the progress of work and advices the respective managers of significant changes and proposed remedial action.
Prepared weekly progress report updated accomplishments and carried out dimensional checks and ensured conformity of the work in accordance with plan and specification.
Ensured details of estimation that includes all related cost like manpower, material and equipments.
Reviewed completed job orders and compared the expanded cost with the estimated cost. Assist Project Teams coordinate / perform quality reviews, audits, inspections and surveillance to verify conformance to requirements.
Headed project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects.
Managed the resources and activities of the Quality Department and to ensure that the respective procedures, system and processes are being implemented.
Prepared documents based on the Quality Control Inspection and Test Plan and Technical Specifications.
Attended coordination meeting for the better quality of construction procedure and schedule implementation and understand the roles and obligation of various parties under contract and participate as delegate.
Performed the inspection reports for all work to ensure its alignment with the quality standards.
