• Manage and guide the development of HR policies, reward strategies, salary scales, benefits and incentive structures Programs, processes, procedures, etc.

• Manage the training policy to identify training needs and direct the design and delivery of training programs that will address the training needs.

• Manage the design, development and implementation of a Performance Management.

• Manage and guide the development of job descriptions, job evaluation, career planning and succession planning.

• Manage all HR and administration processes like employee records, payroll, leave, travel and various benefits to ensure they are executed timely and cost effectively in line with the approved HR policies.

• Ensure Omanisation target is achieved by constantly tracking Omanisation percentage against the set target and communicate to respective GMs of their achievement.

• Assist and provide support that employees are equitably treated and are satisfied in supporting good and harmonious relations among employees.

• Maintain smooth running of the Human Resources Information System. Support Group HR function and all departmental managers in managing human resources management and payroll information requirements in accordance with Group policy, legislation and best practices.

• Provide HR leadership and consultation to business leaders and line managers on the people-related matters impacting their business.

• Managing the redundancy process (staff downsizing) which was as a result of the economic crisis that took place in the world in 2008.
• Carry out the responsibilities of the Head of HR & Admin (similar to what has been mentioned above with the position “Group Human Resources Manager”).

Responsibilities:

 Guide all staff in Administration, Maintenance and Safety & Security sections to effective function and implement laid down of administrative policies and procedures.
 Provide advices and assistance to Head of Departments on Administration matters for effective implementation.
 Ensure all admin polices and systems laid are effectively followed and take corrective action if necessary.
 Ensure all the important registers and certificates with Government / Ministries / Chamber of Commerce and renewed on time.
 Handle staff grievances and take necessary action as and when needed with consultation of the Department Head.
 Handle all matters related to accommodation, offices and various maintenance contracts such as signboards, cleaning, A/C and electrical maintenance.

• Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
• Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers.
