General Overall Strategic Responsibilities

Marketing & Sales Responsibilities

• To get the sales to target potential companies & projects, create leads, do cold calls, get appointments, arrange visits & meetings, introduce our company, the brands of products we represent, generate enquiries, get the specifications, RFQ's & BOQ's.

• To technically check, verify, confirm & validate any / all inquiries with regards to the products, brands, standards & specifications received from the customers / clients.

• To float inquiries locally, regionally & internationally, directly with the manufacturers or with their authorized dealers / representatives / distributors / agencies for materials not in stock and materials in the inquiry but not dealt by us in a beneficial support / assist capacity on a case to case basis.

• To get them to put up with quotations, have it reviewed & evaluated on it's merit & further negotiate to get the best deal for us.

• To get the sales to put across our quotations to the customers / clients, follow them up, negotiate, finalize & close deals with LOI's & PO's and let our suppliers have the same respectively.

• To get the accounts to send across and receive performa invoices & confirm on the intended payments.

• To visit the yards / warehouses & conduct inspections to ascertain the quantities and quality of the materials being send / brought.

• To get the logistics to coordinate with the customers & clients to arrange gate passes, spaces, storage, cleaning, loading, unloading, handling & transporting to give minimized lead time deliveries.

• To inspect & confirm as to the quantities & quality of the materials received & delivered & do accordingly.

• To get and provide all technical, commercial & logistics documentation including but not limited to Test Report's, Mill Test Certificate's, Certificate Of Origin's, Bill Of Lading's, Packing List's & Commercial Invoice's.

• To get the accounts to receive & submit commercial invoices & statement of accounts and effect clearance of all pending payments ASAP.

• To prepare & submit technical, commercial, pre qualifications, material submittals & sample boards upon requests as per prescribed formats and get the government sector department, consultant, contractor & project consultant approvals for the company's brands of products.

• To get the logistics to monitor the stock availability of all materials, replenish & maintain them.

• To brief, allocate resources, assign jobs and manage a team of technicians to conduct pre delivery inspections , service, repair & maintenance of a rental fleet of 60 closed diesel 50 - 1250 kva power generators / gensets.

• To coordinate with all parties concerned to obtain the necessary gate passes & permissions so needed.

• To have the monitoring team alert the mobile technical team & have them dispatched to the project site locations to investigate & resolve any / all issues ASAP to avoid any significant disruption to service.

• To have the mobile technical team provide a standby support genset should the genset in question incur complex or time consuming issues.

• To get the service team to have the gensets back at the yard cleaned, serviced, connected, idle/load tested, repaired, maintained & have them on the ready ASAP at the yard.

• To conduct routine general maintenance on all gensets at the yard / project locations through the service & mobile technical teams.

• To maintain sufficient stock of the essential spare parts, tools & consumables to facilitate quick repairing & servicing of the gensets by the service & mobile technical teams minimizing lead time on deliverables.

• To assist the sales & accounts to optimize business.

• To maintain records & document all aspects of operation in line with the directive from the management confirming to QC/QA standards / specifications, review protocol / procedure to be adhered to including safety precautions to be followed in tandem with the management.

• To generate reports for the management to review, decide, plan & implement policies accordingly.
