Dana Gas PJSC is listed in the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. Producing 65, 000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from its operations in Egypt and the KRI of Iraq (proven plus probable reserves of 152 million barrels of oil equivalent and a resource potential of some 900 million barrels).
- Established and developed the Group’s HR strategy, infrastructure and remuneration philosophy.
- Effectively implemented relevant policies, procedures and systems to achieve Group business objectives.
- Developed a number of initiatives including HR policy manuals, job descriptions/evaluations, performance & talent management, automation of HR processes, employee value proposition, succession planning, etc.

HR leadership role involving the full range of global HR activities for all Shell operating units, including globalization, HR shared services, employee recruitment & retention and value proposition development, strategic employee planning, driving staff and organizational performance, and increasing the efficiency & effectiveness of HR systems and processes. Work with business leaders to accelerate their career.
• Other activities included supporting research, development, and execution of core HR products, systems, services, managing salary and benefit surveys, creating policies and procedures, managing performance reviews, creating a talent pipeline, directing succession planning, overseeing internal audits and more.
Achievements
• Established a new Human Resources Department for a Joint Venture between Shell, Total and Aramco.
• Handled nationalization issues and global human resources functions for operations employing over 2, 000.
• Member of Shell’s HR Globalization Program and Board Member of Shell’s Global Office in Saudi Arabia.
• Consulted with Board of Directors regarding Human Resources issues affecting JVs and operating units.
• Managed a 28-person team of HR Managers, HR Specialists, HR Generalists and an Executive Secretary.
• Started up a new HR Department for a global business with 10 operating units and several joint ventures.
• Drove cost savings and improved efficiency by enhancing national training and development programs.
• Wrote new employee value propositions in an effort to attract and maintain high-performing talent.
• Effectively and confidentially dealt with a challenging security situation.
Served on the Board of Directors with responsibility for all operations and supervision of a 20-person HR team for a company providing support services to corporate and military organizations; services included staffing, resourcing, training, management, insurance, translation services, catering, maintenance, housekeeping etc.

Managed the full range of HR activities and led a team that provided HR services to 1, 500 employees, overcoming multicultural differences among employees, creating a strong synergy across the organization and focusing on employee recruiting and retention efforts.
• Wrote HR policies, created the first salary administration program, and set up employee performance reviews and promotion practices to drive employee attrition.
Member of HR Board of Directors; leveraged HR expertise to create HR strategies and policies and provide HR services to 6, 500 multicultural employees in the Middle East. Key activities included local and international employee recruiting, interviewing/testing/hiring candidates, training new staff, creating employee contracts, transferring staff to other subsidiary companies and coordinating all relocation activities, overseeing visa and work permit issues, and other HR activities.
- Led a reorganization of the Human Resources Department by centralizing all employee operations in Riyadh.
- Designed an improved remuneration program that brought consistency to the company.
- Accomplishments included managing 20 projects involving over 700 employees. Projects involved catering, restaurants management, marketing, purchasing, invoicing, staff training, promotions, and more.
- Created excellent customer relations; ensured department met budgets and quality standards; involved in client presentations, and new business development.
Selected to open a new branch for the bank, and hired 12 staff.
- Key activities included branch management, operations, Foreign Exchange and Credit Department management, customer service, public relations, marketing, and customer relations.
