JOB OBJECTIVE

•Dealing with emergencies
•Checking the condition and provision of emergency equipment and information for passengers

PREVIOUS JOB OBJECTIVES
•Operation of Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) using Departure Control System (DCS) so as to reconcile baggage at check in counter and Makeup area.
•Complete surveillance of passengers and baggage entering in the terminal area. Physical checking of baggage at the X-BIS ( Baggage Inspection System)
•Checking documents of passengers at check in counter for fraud detection.
•Document Checking of various consignments of export and import cargo at cargo terminal.
•Anti Sabotage check inside the aircraft and checking of boarding cards of the passengers to prevent any unlawful interference to civil aviation.
•Checking of food uplifts to aircrafts right from the packing area of the flight kitchen.
•Allocation of manpower at each post where security services are needed.
Thorough investigation at time when discrepancies occurred.
•Day to day billing of security services provided by Air India Security to Customer Airlines.
•Planning and preparation of duty roster after discussing with Shift Duty Managers.
•Procuring Items through Air India Material and Management Department as per the sanctioning of request to Head Quarters.
•Implementing an ordering system in such a way that it avoids over stock as well as less stock.
•Conducting yearly, half yearly and quarterly appraisal for the staff and making training plans by discussing with the training coordinator.
•Day to day verification of stationeries and consumables needed for security department.
•Maintaining Quota of Concession flight tickets (Flying Passages) of every staff under Security Department.
