• End to End Recruitment Specialist responsible for the delivery of permanent hires, within all divisions of Jaidah Group; Automotive, Equipment, Electrical/Projects and Furniture.
• Working with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to ensure attraction, selection and delivery of the best candidates.
• Interviewing candidates using a variety of different techniques including competency based interviewing and candidate online testing.
• Managing a high volume of vacancies ensuring that KPI’s and targets are met in line with business objectives.
• Liaise with the immigration team and candidates with regards to visa and residence permit processing within Qatar.
• Handling the on-boarding of hired candidates by accommodating their travel and arrival (issuing tickets, arranging airport pick up & temporary accommodation).
• Developing and maintaining relationships with multiple vendors where necessary, negotiating and confirming agency agreements.
• Planning & Organizing recruitment events and career fairs on various occasions.
•Responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing and new clients
•Develop bespoke methodology aligned to departmental / line manager requirements for each client, ensuring all remain within the company’s official HR policies
•Liaise with line managers to understand technical and soft skills for each vacancy, developing tailored process for recruiting each
•Sole responsibility for identifying, screening and interviewing candidates, including referencing from previous employers and conducting written assessments to demonstrate suitability
•Proficient use of multiple platforms including databases, social media and referral networks
•Managing a highly successful Qatarisation desk, assisting clients in maintaining and increasing nationalization levels
•Manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing to candidate’s commencement of work
•Assist Country Manager in creating business development strategy, identifying potential clients and creating a route to market for executive search and direct hire positions.
•Assessing and responding to the needs of each particular client or assignment and advising on suitable recruitment methodology to ensure timely delivery.
•Interviewing and offering consultative CV and interview advice to candidates.
•Deputizing for the Country Manager in a range of operational and client management duties
•Supporting a team of three consultants covering the recruitment activities of all business related roles (Marketing & Sales, IT, HR, Finance) across all industries
•Sole responsibility for prioritizing candidate recruitment and delivery to business development consultants
•Sourcing & attracting candidates through the internal database, job boards & social media
•Screening suitable candidates via telephone, video conferencing and face to face interviews
•Developing a database of Qatari professionals to meet client demand, maintaining accurate knowledge of marketplace, key personnel and their suitability to client businesses
•Design on-line job adverts and manage on-line job board postings
•Scheduling interviews, offers and brokering new terms of employment
• Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager EMEA and actively participating in all recruitment cycle activities.
• Recruiting for roles that cover all corporate functions and seniority levels.
• Main responsibilities included, but not were not limited to:
-generating job descriptions and posting them on the corporate website and different channels
-assessing applications
-sourcing candidates on social media and job boards
-screening candidates (phone interviews) and presenting short lists to the hiring managers
-scheduling interviews
-background screening
• Working together with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator on Avery Dennison's Internship Program by managing relationships with University and Career Centers, sourcing and screening intern
candidates, assisting with their on- boarding and other ad hoc tasks.
REDIVE Project (Recruitment for Effective European Cultural Workforce Diversity)

Project launched by Rotterdam School of Management, in collaboration with 4 European Partners, with the scope to understand the current situation in EU with regard to workforce diversity and recruitment.
I participated in the project by conducting qualitative interviews in the Netherlands. I was responsible for analyzing the data gathered from the interviews and preparing a report on the main findings.
