As a Database Administrator I’m in charge of the customized software’s which are on Oracle 9i / D2K. I am responsible for all additions, modifications etc. as required from design, development, implementation and post-implementation support. I am also fully in charge of database administration right from backup to space management. Currently working on a project disaster recovery planning (DRP) for the production database. My task includes Database Backups, Develop and implements strategy for maintaining security roles, privileges. Implementing Performance and Tuning in Database Efficient volume management compile various database reports using SQL/PLSQL statements Deep analysis, strategy planning and documentation of database changes.
