• Published a Business Process Improvement Methodology that leverages Lean Management, Balanced Scorecard and Lean Six Sigma to facilitate a people oriented approach with less bureaucracy to implement process improvement initiatives.

• Identified cost savings of over AED70, 000 during an improvement initiative within the Recruitment process by using the abovementioned methodology.

• Managed & led several core process improvement project initiatives that entailed understanding current state operations, analyzing them and defining new business processes, procedures, policies, change management to underpin Dubai Strategic Plan 2015. Few projects include: Client Registration, Declaration Processing, Risk Engine, Risk Mitigation, Cargo Reconciliation, and others to secure Dubai’s borders, protect revenue and facilitate trade.

• Ensured all initiatives are executed as per Dubai Customs’ Enterprise Architecture framework, GCC Laws and Dubai Government’s risk / security guidelines.

• Recruitment of candidates for the Business Process Department.
