Reporting to the Head of Finance (CFO); I am heading the financial accounting & reporting function including responsibility of managing financial operations team covering Revenue, Receivables, Payables, Treasury and Cash Management functions. Being associated from the startup phase of this green field state owned infrastructure telecommunication project, I was extensively involved in establishing a robust finance function, implementing ERP and negotiating & finalizing long term contracts. Responsible for Accounting, Analysis & Reporting of all Revenue & Cost of Sales streams (including Roaming & Interconnect), starting from the product/service design & development phase to its financial reporting and evaluation throughout its life cycle. Key highlights of the role are:

Being associated with VIVA in the start-up phase gave me the opportunity of implementing a finely tuned accounting infrastructure, with optimum system utilization and efficient & controlled processes. Key highlights of the role are:
• Managed the complete Financial Accounting function of the entity on Oracle Financial platform.
• Ensured adequate recording and reporting of transactions in accordance with the requirements of IFRS and org policies.
• Performed monthly & yearend financial book closure process under finely tuned process.
