Reporting to the Head of Finance (CFO); I am heading the financial accounting & reporting function including responsibility of managing financial operations team covering Revenue, Receivables, Payables, Treasury and Cash Management functions. Being associated from the startup phase of this green field state owned infrastructure telecommunication project, I was extensively involved in establishing a robust finance function, implementing ERP and negotiating & finalizing long term contracts. Primary job responsibilities of the role were:
 Ensured accounting of all business operations in accordance with IFRS and advised & implemented the accounting and reporting requirements of new business transactions under the IFRS framework in the dynamic telecommunication industry.
 Implemented systemized month end closing processes & procedures in an integrated Oracle ERP environment.
 Prepared and presented monthly management reports with exhaustive analysis of business & financial performance.
 Prepared statutory financial statements and handled all group, internal & external financial reporting requirements.
 Primed for handling the external audit engagement, including preparation, review and finalization of relevant corporate documentation.
 Administering the taxation and other legal requirements as per applicable laws & regulations in the state of Qatar.
 Handled correspondence with banks for finalizing bank guarantees, performance bonds & deposits and other financial arrangements.

Being associated with VIVA in the start-up phase gave me the opportunity of implementing a finely tuned accounting infrastructure, with optimum system utilization and efficient & controlled processes. Key highlights of the role are:
• Managed the complete Financial Accounting function of the entity on Oracle Financial platform.
• Ensured adequate recording and reporting of transactions in accordance with the requirements of IFRS and org policies.
• Performed monthly & yearend financial book closure process under finely tuned process.
