Job Description:
\nLIGHTING TECHNICIAN
\n Programming lighting consoles, GRAND MA2 ULTRA LIGHT, COMAND WING, AVOLITES PEARL 2008 2010 and SGM pilot 3000. Handling lighting fixtures like ROBE, ALPHA, DELTA’S, PALCO, PEARL RIVER, CITY COLOR, SGM GIOTTO. Lightning design using GRAND MA2 3D, COMAND WING PC, connecting the console for synchronization of signal. Pre-rigging the lighting and ensuring all cables and wires are safely concealed.
\n Ensuring all lighting equipment is in working order and organizing any necessary scaffolding and cranes.
\n Assembling all the lighting and filter equipment needed. Also operate the lighting equipment during a production.
\n Deciding on the lighting crew numbers and equipment needed and then employing the crew and hiring the equipment.
\n Conducting risk assess establishing lighting requirements. Liaising with lighting directors/client and designers to create the lighting design, stage manager, producer and sound technician throughout each project. Establishing lighting requirements and plotting the lighting. Coordinating the equipment and the technical crew. Arranging for any additional lighting equipment for special lighting effects and rigging the lighting.
\nOBJECTIVE
\nWORK EXPERIENCESet up, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment. Used to work with EXTRON, BARCO, EVENTIX SEAMLESS SWITCHER, and CHRISTIE, SANYO, EPSON, BARCO PROJECTORS. Do the matrix switcher set-up using the fiber optic cable. Responsible for operating equipment that is used to record and display live events, such as a live conference. We do technical support during Webinars and remote conferences or classes and may be required to add graphics to presentations and mix sound for special events using specialized equipment. Operate and maintain equipment used to amplify record and display sound and images at live events- such as, sound equipment for speeches and presentations, use video cameras to shoot images or serve as projectionists. Enable to transport, assemble, maintain and repair equipment used in multimedia production. Creative and flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with coworkers and clients, often under deadline pressure.
