 Design Discipline for Mechanical (HVAC System), Plumbing System and Fire Protection System.
 Design new or replacement heating, cooling, refrigeration systems specific to customer needs and building specifications.
 Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems, and purified water systems.
 Designs, selects, schedules, sizes and specifies basic Plumbing system components to include plumbing fixtures, drains, and equipment.
 Designs and select Fire protection systems and equipment.
 Have imperative knowledge of basic construction principles.
 Works with contractors in regards to both design and implementation.
 Develop manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
 Construct and oversee technicians in construction of develop systems.
 Interfaces with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing and assembly.
 Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
 Confer with system engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
 Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
 Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
