•Analyzing the client’s assets and identifying which security measures are needed: Interviewing clients to identify possible security threats; establishing the necessary security parameters; and deciding on the best security measures available.
• Establishing security protocols and policies, as well as designing security plans to protect the client’s assets:
Creating a set of rules and security standards; designing policies to protect the client’s interests; and
implementing security measures, providing technical supervision and advice as required.
•Meeting with clients: Explaining security protocols and measures to clients, as well as all related costs (e.g. staff, equipment, and maintenance); and checking with clients for other possible security issues.
•Running vulnerability tests: Performing risk assessment tests; analyzing possible breaches; designing countermeasure plans so as to eliminate risks as much as possible; and writing and presenting reports based on findings.
• Researching the latest security standards: Keeping up-to-date with the latest security systems, tools, and technology.
•Coordinating a team of security specialists: Hiring and training new members of the team; assigning tasks to each member of the team; creating a schedule of work shifts to provide 24-hour protection when needed; coordinating and supervising all team activities; and assessing emergency situations and coordinating an appropriate response.

Specific Activities

• Develop Construction Security Plans for Clusters.
• Manage all security schedules to ensure P efficiency and provide a robust security program.
• Enforce all local, regional and national regulations and laws.
• Review all security information and provide weekly and monthly security reports to SAPL
Security Manager.
• Conduct analytical security evaluations of any security reports.
• Implement security mitigation measures necessary to enhance the Cluster security program.
• Conduct Security Risk Management for Cluster

• Reduce costs on manpower and equipment without compromising the safety and security of the Cluster.
• Design, develop and implement all Emergency Response, CrÏ6is Management and Physical Security programs.
• Provide effective security management of guard force personnel.

• Manage regular patrols, inspections of buildings and facilities to identify and report damage and potential security risks.
• Manage security to ensure that buildings are secure and that unauthorized personnel are prevented from accessing the construction site/Cluster

The Country Security Director is accountable for developing and implementing an effective strategy to assess and mitigate risks, maintain continuity of operations, and safeguard personnel, assets, product security of Sanofi affiliate from any hostile infringements of the Group’s interest.

Objective:
To provide a safe and secure work environment for personnel and operations around-the-clock in one or more subsidiaries in country.
• Functions:
• Advise the Corporate Security (CS) and the Affiliate General Manager (AGM) periodically of on-going risks and vulnerabilities and mitigating measures to safeguard Sanofi operations in country.
• Identify, develop, implement and maintain security processes, practices and policies at sites to eliminate risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, physical, personal, and reputational risk.
• Keep the GM informed of appropriate corporate security policies and general procedures authorized by the CS.
• Ensure that implementation of security operations is in strict compliance with national laws and applicable local regulations.
• Propose written guidelines to orient all personnel on basic security and safety measures and organize briefings and practice drills as appropriate.
• Coordinate the functions of the site-security managers’ (and team) to ensure outcomes meet security and safety objectives.
• Establish and maintain cooperative partnership networks with the main external interlocutors (law enforcement, customs, external local security partners and associations, among others) so as to reduce risks to security and maintain continuity of operations.
• Cooperate, as necessary, in mutual operations with other Country Security Partners.

• Constantly proactively look for areas of risk and implement, maintain and train Business Continuity Plans for the top 10
major business risks.
• Ensure the security and safety of all Royal, VIP guests and Embassy Delegations, through liaising with their security,
performing room and hotel inspections, clearance of employees, working required hours
• Follow, implement and train the Security team on SOP’s.
• Initiate and pursue the prosecution of any person detected committing criminal acts against the hotel, guest, visitor,
employees or management and reporting any act of suspensions to the General Manager.
• Closely monitor employee and visitors/contractors entry and exit ensuring the hotel is not subject to theft or pilfering.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure they are followed up timely, accurately and in full
• Assist in work related investigations of losses and claims for both guests and employees
• Assist with the safe keeping of guest lost property.
• Assist in work related investigations pertaining to disciplinary actions of employees.
• Assist the F&B Hygiene Coordinator with investigations
• Recommend equipment modernization and improvements to improve security and safety of guests and employees.
• Constantly evaluate and provide recommendations for the improvement of security procedures in various department
paying particular attention to storage, key control, stock control and personal security of guests and employees.
• Build a strong rapport and liaise with local authorities and police and ensure the hotel meets all local and federal
government regulations.
• Monitor and maintain all surveillance systems and records.
• Ensure that the Security Command Centre is manned 24/7

• Ensure that the agreed levels of security at the base are maintained at numbers contracted and that the security Company is providing adequate trained personnel to achieve the task.
• Participates in decisions relating to Industrial Security activities. Provides oversight for all Industrial Security activities, policies, plans and strategies. Makes recommendations and develops proposals for changes in policies or procedures to support best practices .
• Formulate gate security drills and procedures which maintain the security of the base without hindering the conduct of operations unless in an emergency.
• Liaise with the management of private guarding security companies .
• Know the Company emergency planning drills for all contingencies and liaise with QHSE on other emergency procedures. Also to train security in those drills on a time to time basis.
• Guide the implementation of emergency management systems and processes that have been developed in response / evacuation.
• Control the issue of ID cards and vehicle stickers to contractor companies and ensure they have business on the base.
• Control the issue of vehicle stickers to company’s employees and ensure that stickers are used correctly and exchanged and replaced as required.
• Conduct security briefings to new hires when requested to do so by HR and also to management and visitors.
• Be available to answer emergencies 24/7 and to be immediately support the Security Manager should the need arise.
• Responsible for enforcing and upholding all safe work practices and policies.
• Directing the preparation and monitoring of budgets of the expected costs of revenue.

• Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the Project Team, as stipulated in the
Project Execution Plan and the Project Safety Plan.
• Develop Project Safety Audit Schedule, conduct site Safety audits within Projects and assist Site Project Management in
conduct of project audits, as needed.
• Evaluate and monitor implementation of contractor’s Safety management systems.
• Monitor, investigate, identify and resolve subproject Safety issues, evaluate Safety Metrics, and provide reports to responsible
line management, Site Project Management and Function, as required.
• Implements the process for reviewing contractor safety performance against applicable laws and regulations.
• Work with company and contractor’s site management to implement the project and site safety programs.
• Facilitate regular Safety inspections, assessments, and audits at the various project sites in accordance with Safety Programs

• Monitor all of the facilities alarms and the proper response the alarms they will be in constant contact with all other security
posts and are accountable for reporting any and all incidents daily as well as directing security services and employees during
any emergency situation and notify proper department to handle emergencies.
• Implement the Disaster Plan when instructed to do so. Other duties include answering incoming calls, monitoring radio
network & all cameras .
• Record all important incidents in the duty log. May serve as liaison with police on mutual problems.
