• Established the Credit Department aiming at reconciling aging accounts, enhancing collection of aging debt, and cleaning customer accounts and other balance sheet items.
• Participated in various Functional Requirements Documents (FRD’s) that aim at automating existing manual processes or creating new ones. Example: pullback automation process.

Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable at SAED International for Istigdam Co.

Achievements:
• Restructured the Accounts Receivable Department, trained and developed employees to handle more senior and supervisory positions, and developed new efficient policies and procedures that enhance inter-company communications and improve internal controls.
• Led and participated in various Functional Requirements Documents (FRD’s) that aim at automating existing manual processes or creating new ones. Examples: automation of assignment agreements, automation of contract creation and issuance of the 1st invoices, and automation of non-payroll invoices.

Achievements:
• Headed the Credit Department of the newly established company (Ejar). This required directing all credit and collection activities within the company’s 6 branches.
• Within the first 12 months, I exceeded the set target for core customers: past dues over 2 months for core customers reduced by 29%. For the portfolio as a whole, total exposure was reduced by 10%, past dues reduced by 13%, and past dues over 2 months reduced by 4%.

Achievements:
• My portfolio outperformed the performance of others in the Central Region. Between Jan 2014 and Jan 2016, the total number of customers in my portfolio increased by 20% while the total number of customers in the Central Region increased by less than 1%. On the aging side, total past dues over 2 months for the Region rocketed by 260% while my portfolio increased by 129% (major contributors to the increase was the addition of customers to my portfolio).
