Al Hijaz Trading is an FMCG distribution company founded in 2013 by me. Company products include dry food products (rice, cans, snacks, pasta, mineral water, Juice), disposables and others. These products are from Europe, India, Middle East, China and Philippine. Al Hijaz is the sole distributor of these products in Qatar.
As a small new company, sales, marketing, purchasing, finance and HR are managed directly by me.
Achievements:
1- In first 2 years, company products became available in all hypermarkets in Qatar.
2- Selling company products at HORECA market.
2- Most of Al Hijaz products are fast moving products and the company brands are well known ones in Qatar. - Al Morouj AlKhadra 'mkf' is a foodstuff distribution company established in Qatar in 2004.
- Company products' include all types of food. Dry food as rice, pasta, sweets, cans and mineral water. Chiller products as cakes. Frozen food as frozen vegetables and frozen meat.
- I joined the company as Business Development Manager in Qatar. My main target was to develop the market and the products of the company. I was able to made a company that serve all market sectors including retail market. To do that I have recruited new employees, coached and trained all of them. I have developed the company products by purchasing and launching new products in the market.
- In June 2011, I have established a new branch of the company in Dubai and I became Business Development Manager of Qatar and UAE. A business plan for UAE market was designed by me and implemented successfully.
