Following Procurement function restructuring, I assumed the most senior Procurement role for Indirect & Capex Segments, with a one of the world’s largest (5B € revenue) and profitable Downstream Aluminum firms, covering 1 B € in spend. Proven track record of successfully leading Procurement Transformation while delivering immediate spend reduction, direct report to the Group CFO

Experienced in leading a global organization (7 Corporate and 4 BU Category
Managers as direct/solid line reports and 92 Procurement operations Headcount across the sites as dotted line reports) by close partnership with business stakeholders to ensure full Procurement support of the business strategy; demonstrated success in delivering world-class value.

Some Achievements:

• 2014 EBIDTA savings delivery: 19, 1M€ (+50% vs. budget /5.5% Addressable spent); thus 2011-2014: 66, 7 M€ EBIDTA savings / 4% of addressable indirect spent along 4 years, while reducing 70% the cost of the Central Procurement Function (FTE and budget) during the mentioned period.
• 2014 Capex savings delivery: 14, 6 M € (8, 4 sustaining capex and 6, 2 growth: + 30% vs. budget and 10% of Capex addressable envelope), making a total of 36 M€ of capex productivity on the 4 years period (6.5%)
• Leading an unprecedented 1.1 B€ Capex program (2014-2017) on time on budget and safety, key role on successful engagement on 3rd party engineering firms for first time ever in our history.
• Support revenue generation by active role on DD process (M&A) at the USA
• LCC integration on supplier base for technical segments
• Deployment of breakthrough project finance solutions: massive project finance for capex projects (more than 15 projects (65M€ of sustaining capex and 60 M€ of strategic growth projects) to enable execute more projects with deferred cash out effort
• SOX compliant sourcing process (new requirement) by developing a new sourcing policy, process implementation and Controls definition.
• New sustainability Supply Chain requirements implementation: Draft a new Supplier Sustainability Code of Conduct, follow up to enforce supplier acceptance.
• 5 years Procurement plan definition: presenting new Procurement Function set-up (Organization, process, tools and strategy)
