• To fuel growth, devised global and local recruitment tactics which established KPMG as the top option for senior staff and graduates attracting in peak years circa 460 top class graduates pa and 100+experiences hires.
• Orchestrated headhunting of top performers from competitors using unorthodox research consultants.
• Delivered full talent management, resulting in retention rates of +/-85% accelerated development, progression and succession. 14 of the 21 present leadership cadre (per website) developed under this regime.
• Delivered savings of $20+m by challenging unjustified Russian ‘people’ tax claims
Provided training and new methodology launches, operational support and troubleshooting in 24+ countries.
• A change agent for the global merger of PW’s independent firms and the merger of PW South Africa and the biggest Afrikaans firm, Wiehahn Meyernel (SA) and Arthur Young Yacin (Turkey) making PW the leading firms.
• Directed World Bank/EU-funded technical and restructuring programmes across emerging economies in Hungary, Romania, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia, rated in the top decile by two independent assessors.
• Closely involved in every aspect of company, including change management, project management, persuasion, business process reform, training design and communications.
• Managed multi-skilled teams in acquisitions or disposals valued at $300m plus post acquisition
Played pivotal role securing Gazprom as a client, generating circa $18m pa and launched transformation from Russian to international financial reporting, repeating this with telecoms, oil, gas, electricity and banks, winning 39 new clients equalling circa $8m.
• Directed Belarus bank training and consulting project generating $3.5 in fees
• Led coaching programmes across EMEA measured as generating productivity gains of up to 42% and profit increases of up to $24m per country.
The Bsc Economics option that I took was Industry & Trade. This included 2 Economics paoers - Pure & Applied Economics, Accounting. Then: 3 Law papers Common Law, Commercial Law and , most importantly,. Labour Law. Political Philosophy. Statistics. The degree was awarded by London University, but the classes were held at. the University of Hertfordshire. the LSE and Oxford where I won a prize in Political Philosophy. I am also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales; the exams for which are regarded as an Equivalent to a Masters Degree in the UK.
