B.E M.S.University, Tamil Nadu National Engineering College Supply Chain Executive November 2006 - Present Berger Paints Emirates Limited, UAE Achievements:  Joined the company as Supply Chain Assistant was promoted as Supply Chain Officer during the 3rd year after joining.  Promoted as Supply Chain Senior Officer in the 5th year after joining.  Promoted as Supply Chain Junior Executive during the 8th year after joining.  Promoted as Supply Chain Executive during the 11th year after joining.  Won 5S Award for Production zone continuously from the year 2012-2013 to present.  Spearheaded a project initiated to reduce the negative stock variance of additives which was completed with a positive result.  Served as a member of the safety committee.  Led a project to ensure the arrangement of materials comply with the rules of Dubai municipality (Hazchem).  Appreciated for an innovative solution implemented for reduction of costs pertaining to the hazardous waste disposal bags.  Acknowledged for contributions in leading and successfully executing a plastic waste recycling initiative from Asian Paints HQ in India.  Optimized operations and effectively achieved sourcing savings throughout operations. • Key Responsibilities:  Managing, distributing and monitoring the movement of all materials between company locations and client destinations.  Monitoring and tracking the flow of goods into the warehouse, coordinating with warehouse and other departments for accurate and on time delivery.  Assuming responsibility for keeping the existing stores and warehouses smooth and efficient.  Overseeing all housekeeping functions for materials, ensuring the work area was cleared at all times and in compliance with GMP across the facility.  Performing VAT - RCM reconciliation against FTA.  Devising the consumption plan for RM aged materials in collaboration with the technical department.  Catering to bulk tanker planning as per capacity  Ensuring proper scraps disposal encompassing pallets, barrels and empty paper bags.  Ensuring optimal usage of all available resources to execute delivery as per schedule and within budgeted overheads, enforced budgetary guidelines, cost control and cost cutting measures.  Checking and receiving the incoming raw materials required for the manufacturing of paint, entering of the received materials into the ERP (Navision) system as per FIFO.  Arranging for regular stock take once in every 4 months, proactively reducing stock out situations by sending a stock low report on daily basis.  Highlighting critical RM status (ETA & Delivery date) to Production Planner, leading purchase negotiations in addition to taking care of all purchases RM, PM and all consumables.
