•Implementation of QS standard, OHS Policy, OHSAS: 18001, Nebosh and ILO guidelines.
•Developing health and safety work program and strategies for the Department.
•To develop and implement the Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, SOP, Permit System, LOTO, 5’ S System & Fire Prevention.
•To test the system by periodic Safety Audit with reference to ISO 45001-2018& ISO14001-2015, Inspections & Mock Drills.
•To conduct monthly HSE & Departmental Safety Committee Meetings & follow-up the compliance.
•To engage with the concerned department, to inspect processes and procedures and ensure good health and safety practice.
•To advise on investigating accidents and complaints to identify root cause and mitigating measure to prevent re-occurrence
•Ensuring workers are provided with adequate information, instruction and training, PPE.
•Investigating precautions taken to prevent industrial diseases.
•Keeping up to date with new legislation and health and safety standards
•Staying informed about developments within particular sectors.

• Providing training and educational support to employees and new/trainee employees within the Department.
• Provide health and safety training to the Department as required.
• To liaise with concerned department and identify continuous improvement in health and safety to move to an independent culture
• To carry independent health and safety inspections of required areas and feedback to Senior Management.
• To liaise with the HSE & concerned department on any matters relating to the health of employees.
• Promote cultural change within the Department through engagement and empowerment.
• To attend HSE Department meetings as and when required.

•Enforce compliance of EPC contractor’s Environment, safety and Health policy.
•Monitor conformance of EPC Contractor and Sub contractor management ensuring that all personnel, including subcontractors are informed of the safety procedures, legislation and conditions existing and that they are instructed in the required safety techniques.
•Analyze site incidents, Dangerous occurence, injuries and hazard identification statistic’s to determine common trends and items and make recommendations for correcting trends.
•Prepare reports including observations, analysis of statistics, and recommendations for control and correction of hazards.
•Conduct Health and Safety and environment audit to the EPC contractor and their subcontractors .And liaise as necessary with the relevant authorities, and assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions.
•Work with senior site management to enforce the implementation construction risk management goals, priorities, and key performance measures for the project.
•Ensures audit program supports regulatory requirements for health, safety, and environmental programs. In addition, the audit program must adhere to the Company’s established policies, processes, and procedures.
•Order suspension of activities that pose immediate or foreseeable threats to workers' health and safety and or the environment.
•Collaborate with the EPC Contractor’s management and engineers to institute control and remedial measures for hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions and/or equipment.
•Managing for ISO14000 and OSHAS 18000 system procedures maintenance, improvement and update documents .
•Attending HSE Meetings with EPC contractor and resolving issues of unsafe act and condition which occurs during execution of work.
• Ensure EPC Emergency Evacuation Plan and Rescue plan was done and conduct mock drills at site and offices.
Reporting to: Manager HSE and Loss Prevention.
•Compliance of Organization Environment, safety and Health policy.

•Attending Safety Meetings with clients and resolving issues of unsafe act and condition which occurs during execution of work.
• Review job safety (JSA)/Risk Assessment prior to the start of new activity.
• Conduct mock drills of Emergency Evacuation Plan and Rescue plan at site and offices.
•Inspecting Physical condition of all Electrical Equipment, earth moving equipment and other tools and tackles as well as ensuring Test/Fitness Certificate and calibration certificate for the same.
•Effectively conducting Safety Training Programs and Safety Audits as and when required.
•Continuous Safety Education for each activity was impacted through meeting and safety campaign.
•Conduct Site Safety Inspection regularly and conduct site safety tour with senior management.
•Prepared monthly HSE Statistics & accident / Incident Reporting, Recording and Investigating.
•Ensuring Medical Fitness Certificate and BA (Breathing Apparatus) Training Certificate to all crew who working with us for special activity.
•Responsible for formulating and enforcing Project Health, Safety and Environment Plan, enforce company HSE regulations and monitoring construction site safety procedures and Policies
•Advice and support management at all levels on Health, Safety & Environmental issues
•Ensuring compliance of Company and Clients’ Health & Safety Policy on the Project.
•Maintenance of all safety records: Information, Man-hours, Safety statistics, Accident/Incident, Occupational ill health and Near miss reports & all inspections, tests and examinations.
•Coordinating with Project Leader for ensuring adequate safety coverage on the site.
•Planning & conducting Weekly Safety Meeting with the Construction team and subcontractors, Inspection and Audits; coordinating with Safety Advisors and Site First Aid Clinic.
•Reviewing HSE Documents e.g. Plan, Project management plan, Method statement and Risk assessment for approval.
•Oversee and coordinate activities of environmental, health & safety.
•Adhere to site-specific safety program as per the agreed client(APCC) Safety policies.
•Ensure weekly safety and health inspections of the site are properly conducted and documented.
•Conduct & participate in accident investigation.
•Ensure safety and health orientations are conducted to acquaint employees with conditions, safe work practices and procedures.
•Conduct and participate in EHS meetings.
•Complete weekly and monthly safety reports and ensure copies of all accident, injury & near miss reports are forwarded to relevant parties in a timely fashion.
•Ensure lessons learned programs are developed as a result of any accident or incident on site and distributed to site supervisor for toolbox safety meeting and copy to client EHS Manager.
Reporting To: Manager E.H.S
•To advise the concerned department in planning and organizing preventative measures necessary for effective control of personal injuries.
•To carryout detailed job safety studies selected jobs and advise departments on safety aspects.
•To carry plant safety inspections based on safety checklist in association with departments.
•To advise departments on measures to be adopted for removing the unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe acts by workers.
•To evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries.
This is a Post graduation diploma in Health Safety and Environment.
