Mission of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education To ensure a leading position in the education of experts in the area of physical education and recreation by ensuring highly competent human resources that will later on contribute to: Improving and upgrading application of physical activities in children and the population at large Enhancing use of bodily activities so as to provide for the growth and development Efficiently applying training loads Adding to the overall health promotion Informed use of knowledge on sport and physical education Contributing to the body of scientific knowledge in the area of physical activities application in sport, physical education and recreation. In order to fulfill its Mission the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Nis contributes to the advancement of the theory and practice in the application of physical activities and continuously collaborate with the similar higher education institutions in the Republic of Serbia, other institutions of the University of Nis and the universities and faculties worldwide. Vision of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education To adopt a community development approach emphasing skilling and resourcing the community by means of perspective, attractive, contemporary and acknowledgable studying of physical (bodyly) activities in sport, physical education and recreation.
