Reporting directly to Transformation and HR Director and working with the HR Transformation Manager on a range of projects supporting EnergySolutions £2.5bn commercial bid to manage the Dounreay decommissioning site with joint venture partners AMEC in a challenging and highly regulated environment.
• Research and development of People Strategy based on full employee lifecycle and focused on leading change, organisational design, resource management, cultural transformational and reskilling.
• Research and development of Talent Management Strategy including leadership development/ succession planning framework for executive team/senior managers.
• Working with stakeholders in EHSSQ, Socio-economics, Programmes, People and Transition across EnergySolutions, AMEC and associated businesses supporting strategy integration.
• Liaising with other consultants and external suppliers to ensure consistency of delivery.
Reporting directly to HR Director with five indirect reports, and total of 37 staff, and managed corporate strategy, governance, policy, standards, processes and budget (£4.1m) for Learning and Organisational Development (L & OD) for all eight UK sites with 2200 employees.
• Author/owner of integrated Resource, Learning and Skills strategy which provided over £3.8m cost benefits (shortlisted for Personnel Today Award 2009 for Best HR Strategy Aligned to the Business).
• Developed/implemented Leadership Development Framework and learning solutions with supply chain partners from first line managers to executive leaders linked to performance management and succession planning processes (shortlisted for Personnel Today Award 2009 for Excellence in Learning and Development and won Engineering Employers Federation Skills Award 2010).
• Developed suite of Developing Performance Modules focused on competency development and driven by performance management process and priority leadership competencies.
• Developed Integrated Action Plan to improve employee engagement as part of Talent Management, Times Top 100 Best Companies and Business Improvement Plan working groups.
• Developed/implemented L & OD shared service model to improve efficiency and effectiveness including process reengineering, common induction, organisational and budget restructuring while maintaining regulatory compliance and identified £1.1m savings over three year plan.

Recruited expatriate technical specialists from the UK and specified the use of psychometric/assessment tools using in-house recruitment specialists.
