• Conduct inspection to all electrical works carried out at the assigned project site to check that they complied with the project specifications and requirements as per Inspection Test Plan and Inspection Checklists.
• Conduct regular site surveillance to check for work progress taking note any violation and recording them on the QC Logbook and issue notification memorandum to the concerned Electrical Construction.
• Conduct inspection of materials delivered at site to check for conformance to project specification, ITP, and Inspection Checklist with reference to pertinent approved Material Submittals.
• Ensure that all documents needed for attachment to the Request for Inspection (RFI) are available and approved.
• Issue Request for Inspection (RFI) to Client’s Representative (PID) for inspection and approval of completed electrical works.
• Issue NCR to the concerned Electrical Construction when the specification or procedural requirements are not met when necessary in consultation with and approval of the QA/QC Electrical Supervisor and Department Manager.
• Coordinate regularly with the concerned Site Electrical Engineer for the corrective actions to be made for the noted violations and non-conformance.
• Observe and attest materials testing and equipment commissioning.
• Regularly update RFI status report and other reports as required by QC Electrical Supervisor.
• Prepare Handing-Over documents such as Equipment Test Package and Construction Inspection Records Books.

• Ensure that the quality of all works carried out at the project site is as per the client specifications and requirements and in compliance with Project Quality Plan (PQP) & Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
• Coordinate regularly with the concerned subcontractor QA/QC staff for the schedule of the inspection and testing as per Request for Inspection (RFI) in conformance to the ITP in the area of jurisdiction.
• Make sure that all RFI’s are provided with required attachments such as Test Reports (for materials and equipments), Calibration Certificates (for test instruments and tools), approved Material Submittal (for materials and equipment), previous copies of Inspection Request and IFC Drawings and/or As-Built Drawings.
• Maintain a record and frequently review all logs, covering Inspection Request, Material Inspection Request, Method Statements, Material Submittals and etc and monitoring their status.
• Review of method statements and other project specific documentation, in consultation with the Project Manager / Team.
• Issue and control the snag/punch list and subsequently, follow-up on it.
• Regularly prepare and submit report daily to the QA/QC Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Coordinate and follow-up the subcontractors for formulation of as-built details required by the Engineering Department for the O & M Manuals.
• Ensure that the workmanship is according to the required quality as per project specification and the materials used are covered with approved material submittals.
• Ensure that the best engineering practices are implemented by the subcontractors as per approved method statement.
• Conduct inspection of materials delivered at site as per RFI issued by the subcontractors with reference to pertinent approved Material Submittals.
• Prepare NCR when the specification or procedural requirements are not met when necessary in consultation with and approval of the Senior QA/QC Engineer and Department Manager.
• Maintain close coordination and harmonious relationship with the client/ consultant representatives.
• Observe and attest materials testing and equipment commissioning.
• Observe strictly proper usage of personal protective equipments (PPE) and follow the HSE rules and policies of the company and the client.
• Attend coordination meetings called by the client/consultants and other departments when required by the superior to answer QA/QC issues.
