Helping the student discover his needs, his potentialities and his goals. Motivating the student to make choices of his school opportunities most likely to lead to his maximum development. Providing the individual with pertinent information and proper interpretations of information concerning his own abilities, attitudes, interests, needs temperament and personality characteristics.
Duties:
● Checking permanent records of students as required by the Department of Education.
● Keeping accurate and complete student records as required by the Department of
education.
● Preparing reports on students achievements and activities as required by the
Department of Education.
● Collaborating with teachers as well as administrator in the development, evaluation and
also revision of school programs for students progress.
● Establishing and enforcing administration policies governing student behavior.
● Planning, directing and participating in recruitment enrollment activities.
● Providing proper counseling services to all students.
● Assisting teachers in the preparation of students form during enrollment.
● Disseminating goal of the guidance office and the school as a whole to the stakeholders.
● Initiating and improving the guidance program.
● Planning the testing program of the school.
● Preparing requisition materials and equipment needed for the guidance work.
Functioning as classroom manager who nurtures and assists students how to read, write and speak well. Maintaining a well-organized, student friendly and multimedia interactive environment by applying technology in the classroom to make the most of the learning
experience.
Duties:
● Helping Students to improve their conversational skill.
● Planning, preparing and delivering lessons appropriate to subject being taught.
● Modifying teaching methods and strategies to suit the needs of students.
● Keeping parents carers updated their child's progress.
● Setting tasks which challenge students and ensure high levels of interest.
● Keeping the children away from any type of bullying and resolve incidents following the
school’s policy.
● Helping students to use equipment and materials provided.
