Responsible in all aspects with regards to over-the-counter transactions.

Process all the cash transaction that takes place in an exchange house on a daily basis.

Maintain accurate details of each transaction.

Make entries into the banking system as and when they happen.

Tally the full cash amount at the end of each day.

Make reports and submit it to the Supervisor/Assistant Manager/Manager.

Help the customer get through tedious banking processes.

Help the customer in whichever banking process they need help with.

Bring in new customers to the bank and help with opening their accounts and their other financial transaction needs.

Have good relations with the regular customers.

Train new employees.

Coordinate with the other employees.

Coordinate with other Cashiers and Teller of the exchange house as there are quite a few tellers even in just one branch.

Act as a promotion officer of the exchange house and create good word of mouth.

Posting all transaction adjustments and fund transfer.

Assortment of other functions do include processing various fund transfer, and remittance services such as sale and outright purchase of Foreign currency, sale of Travelers’ Cheques, application of foreign and domestic Demand Draft, etc.

Responsibilities include implementation of the ‘KYC’ term adhering to the AML guidelines, doing cash transfers both on the instant transfers and bank transfer modes.

Managing and attending customer needs and inquiries and complaints, opening bank accounts, credit card payments, etc.
