This is a Joint Venture company between Closure System International INC, USA and Al Zayani Investments WLL, Bahrain. Closure System International is a worldwide manufacturing company of bottle closures headquartered at USA and having 27 locations offices worldwide.
Responsibilities:
•Looking after Financial Reporting and Accounting Control functions.
•Monthly preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statements, Schedules, Financial Notes and Stock valuation.
•Analysing of Financial Statements and providing explanation for the variances.
•Looking after Capital Expenditures, Allocations, Fixed Assets, Depreciations CWIP Tracking and Maintaining Fixed Assets Register.
•Independent Handling of VAT matters, VAT computation, Returns filing etc.
•Preparation of Plan annually and Forecast.
•Preparing and updation of product costing.
•Calculation of monthly Royalty payable.
•Verification of Account Reconciliations.
•Looking after Account Receivables & Account Payables.
•Month end closing activities and Period End activities.
•Periodic Scrutiny of General Ledgers, Creditors & Debtors Ledger.
•Handling Banking functions, Treasury and Trade Finance activities.
•Looking after MIS Reports and Working Capital Management.
•Working on an Oracle environment.
Monthly preparation & Finalization of Profit & Loss A/c., Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Fixed Assets Register and monthly depreciation schedule and Schedules for Expense Provision, Financial Notes, Valuation of Closing Stock.
•Consolidations of Financial Reports with other subsidiaries.
•Preparing Bank Reconciliations, vouching of all kinds of Vouchers and payroll computation.
•Scrutiny and reconciliations of General Ledger, Debtors and Creditors Ledger.
•Looking after Capital Expenditures, Allocations, Fixed Assets, Depreciations CWIP Tracking and Maintaining Fixed Assets Register.
•Debtors and Creditors Management.
•Preparing Bank wise daily Fund Position and accordingly managing and planning Cash Flow.
•Negotiating with bank for better interest rates and preparing returns yield comparison sheet.
•All banking activities like Treasury, Trade Finance, Remittances, FOREX, Term Loans, Drawdowns (Cash/ Fund Calls) and various correspondences and liaisoning with Bankers.
•Maintaining the monthly loan EMI schedule, term loan interest calculation as per EIBOR and negotiating and reconciling the same with banking records.
•Looking after employees payroll activities.
•Negotiating/ Liaisoning with Insurance Co. for Various Insurance Policies of Company and time to time covering Import and Export Shipments under Cargo Insurance Policy.
•Physical verification of Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods and Fixed Assets.
•Handling Monthly Audit and Audit related queries.
•Working exposure in Oracle package called Orion.
Working in SAP R/3 package, liaisoning at Sales Tax office, application for ‘C’ Form.
•Regular follow up with customers and branch offices for collection of statutory Forms.
•Computation and Filing of VAT and Sales Tax Returns.
Responsible of accounting up to Finalization, Office Management and Administration.
•Looking after accounting system, maintaining Petty Cash, Cash & Bank Book, Vouchers, Profit & Loss, Reconciliation and assisting in preparation of Balance Sheet.
•Auditing of Purchase & Sales Registers, Cash and Bank book. Preparation of Income Tax and Service Tax Challans and Returns.
•Computation of Income Tax and Service Tax Liability. Filing of Income Tax, Service Tax & Professional Tax Returns, Annual and Quarterly Filing of TDS Returns, Liaisoning with Income Tax and Service Tax officials for Taxation matters and with ROC officials for Company Matters.
