Financial Commodities Oil-Gas-Power-Emissions Trading sector:

• Manage and motivate a team of Business and system Analysts including the setup of their yearly targets, the team structure and the long term carrier plans.
• Own a portfolio of Trading Applications. Drive differents upgrades, enhancements, bugfixes, initiatives. Plan, Manager, and forcast the corresponding budget (Over 6 million euros per year)
• Instructe and advise on strategic systems integration across different geographical locations.
• Responsible for setting up processes and controls (Quality Insurance/Market Data/position/MTM) for different Front to back teams.
• Drive a 2 years cost reduction initiative in negotiating with Internal/External Suppliers, off shoring activities and putting SLAs in place and support structures for different ERP components.
• Involved in all new products by working closely with front office, IT, line controllers, market risk, credit risk, compliance, confirmations and operations teams.
• Produce ad hoc reports and statistics for management including Budget forecasting, Projects documents and strategic analysis.

Located on the trading floor providing PnL and Risk analysis support to Front, Middle and Back Office including System training and follow ups.
Production of daily VAR and monthly MTM including investigation of breaks, volumes reconciliations and Explaining PNL.
Primary contact for the investigation of Front Office and infrastructure issues including trade booking (Trayport), static data, Prices and settlement on Gas-Oil-Power-Emission products
Trayport training sessions for new/existing users, including traders.
Writing high level specification documents and working with developers to build/test functionalities and tools for release to all areas of the business.

Products covered: spot, futures, forwards, Interest Rates Swaps, Forex, CDS, Options
Front Office facing providing support for Pricing software, trading tools, Risk analysis, index management, for different trading teams in Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo
Automation of numerous manually performed controls and reports.
Writing detailed specification documents and working with developers to build/test reports and scripts for release to Front and middle offices.
Participate in the straight throw processing (STP) implementation for all covered products.
