Since 2004 I have transitioned in this company, ALMEN, to manage various departments including Procurement, Maintenance Division, Quality Management and Company Strategic Management. I will keep it short for your quick review: 1. Managing partner, focusing largely on executive progression and flow between numerous departments. Working to maintain adherence to budgets, targets, as well as monitoring performance and financial impact. 2. Established and developed the complete Quality Management System, configuration and managerial procedures under the ISO 9000 series. 3. Operating as an internal consultant to make available interventions in “symptomatic” departments and finding long lasting solutions to enhance the department and the organization as a whole. 4. Working hand in hand with all departments to harmonize, institute and scrutinize the yearly objectives and KPI’s of each department, making sure they align with the organizations’ policy as well as displaying a “unity of direction”. 5. Developing the business, using business intelligence modules, to bridging the gaps and bench-marking existing systems in the organization and international best practices. This includes, but not limited to: - Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3). - Integrated software systems connecting projects, inventory and accounts. - Preventive maintenance systems for the workshops. 6. Established, developed and at present heading the procurement department with yearly purchases of more than $8, 000, 000. 7. Monitoring all project management techniques and making sure that management is updated on areas of improvement by ensuring that constant “best practices” are being met. 8. Monitoring all ISO 9001:2008 development and heading the internal audit team as well as being the “management representative” for the standard. 9. Head of Maintenance Division team under 5S protocol. The current division is responsible for around 600 equipment/plants.
- Fully redeveloped and established the Purchasing department to be in line with international best practices of supply chain management in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Established proper purchasing processes to eliminate wastes in time, cost and other variables that may hinder or slow down the supply chain process.
- Developed methodologies for supplier review and approvals including but not limited to supplier ranking and supplier adherence to company requirements.
- Established international contracts with suppliers from India, China, UK and the USA in order to create a major cost reduction in material supply as well as improve the product quality.
- Developed and overlooked a customer feedback system that is linked with the purchasing team to better improve the supply chain process and deliver goods/materials in timely manner.
- Conduct review audits on the purchasing team in accordance with company procedures developed under international standards as well as ISO 9001 requirements.
- Headed the Quality Management department, with the sole task of restructuring the company with a total turnaround to be in line with international standards and best practices.
- Conducted Gap analysis using various models to bridge the gaps between current systems and industry best practices.
- Established Company policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 Standard.
- Established Six Sigma projects in house to review current process performance in the aim to improve them and turn them Lean.
- Developed company Quality Manual and process documentation.
- Established Internal Audit department, conducted in house training for auditors and headed the audit team in accordance with total quality management requirements.
- Overlooked the transition of all documents and records, including procedures, work instructions and forms to be in line with the new company structure under ISO 9001.
- Conducted management review meeting to analyze the company's performance and set up plans of action.
- Overlooked the development of the HSE department.
