Contributing and supporting HRM on the full gamut of HR with specific deliverable's on Recruitment, Employee Relations and HR Administration.
HR Management
Delivering analytical and statistical information on an ad hoc basis to HRM on matters such as Compensation and Benefits, Job Evaluation, Performance Review, Manpower Planning & Control, etc. in order to initiate the decision making, process, highlight problematic areas, recommend solutions/alternatives to problems and follow through in their implementation.
Informed Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the company as well as responded appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Administered policies and programs relating to all phases of human resources activity including HR planning, recruitment, training and development, employee performance evaluation and appraisals, firing processes, etc. Along with these, maintained knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources.
Administered employee benefit plans including new hire orientation program, open enrollment process and wellness program. Prepared, presented and distributed employee communications, publications and announcements.
Administration
Created and maintained filing systems. Generated Human Resources data reports, answered phone calls. Created and typed office correspondence using computer, maintained confidentiality of proprietary information, prepared and reviewed written documents accurately and completely.
Worked independently with candidates to manage the relocation process and coordinated all arrangements to include: house hunting trip, travel, temporary housing arrangements and movers.
Recruitment and Hiring
Assessed recruitment trends; proactively recruited candidates through direct recruitment, internet mining and other creative methods, performed screening, interviewing, applicant assessment and presenting of candidates to Hiring Managers to finalize the recruitment process and assisted in hiring decision. Identified new, cost effective resources for recruitment, and tracked and reviewed effectiveness of advertisement sources.
Responding to staff requests for administrative support as needed
Process all employees request (i.e. leave request, request for passport, certificates, and the like)
Reviewing the monthly timesheet of all Staff and Site Workers prior submission to Accounts for processing the payroll.
Create and maintain all employee personnel files both in hard copy and electronically
Maintain database of staff contracts, probationary/annual reviews and remind supervisors to conduct performance appraisals in a timely manner;
Provides administrative support in the preparation of correspondence, reports, schedules, confidential materials and various employee issues.
Assisting PRO for visa related works (i.e. renewal documentation, medical, health insurance and the like)
Documentation and preparation of Visa application for other embassies for employees going for a trip / training / recruitment outside the country
Draft HR memos (Holidays and any other related to Admin/HR Department) as required.
• Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and different report submittals.
• Operates personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software
• Make copies of correspondence and other printed material for distribution to different department.
• Send adequate notice of the meetings, Take the minutes of the meeting
• Daily Office Management, in-charge on office supplies requisition, maintaining proper office management, etc.
• Responsible with reviewing, printing and delivering all received Fax to appropriate staff
• Receives calls and/or greets visitors, takes and relays messages, responds to requests for information; provides information or directs caller/visitor to appropriate individual.
• Provides assistance and/or on-the-job training.
• Maintains and/or creates files or record keeping systems. Sorts, labels, files and retrieves documents, or other materials (using EDMs Program).
• Updates Submittal logs (I.e. Shop Drawings, Material, Sample, Reports, Etc...)
• Ensuring that all submittals reviewed / actioned by the Consultant or Client should be distributed to all concerned parties either to Subcontractor or Direct Engineer’s Staff working at site.
