.Major Responsibilities:
o Supervise Construction of all activities of Roads & structures work from very start of the Project.
o Implementation of the project specifications & the latest construction drawings.
o To inspect the construction work at site, keeping in view safety and quality of project with excellent architectural finish.
o Formation of embankment in cut & fills sections, sub-grade, and aggregate base course & asphalt base course, Road lines, Cat-eye, Curb stones & Interlock work.
o Dealing skillfully with a diverse range of people including clients, architects, other engineering professionals, sub-contractors and members of the public.
o Finding solutions to overcome unforeseen construction difficulties.
o Scheduling and adjusting each stage of the project to meet time and budget targets.
o Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and Health, Safety requirements (HSE).
o Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project.
o Organize the delivery of materials, plant machinery and equipment needed for the construction project and supervise labor.
o Organize plan, direct, advice and managed site staff, Allocate Resources to specific aspects of project.
o Preparation of daily work report give feed back to Seniors
o Review & monitor the construction for compliance with the design.
o To coordinate with site staff of central concrete batching plant, keeping in view the hot weather, using chiller/ ice to control concrete temperature.
Responsibilities
o Preconstruction confirmatory boring, on land.
o Preparation of bore logs based on visual classification of strata encountered.
o Routine inspection of contractor's road & structure works.
o Monitor & checking of site measurements carried out by the contractor.
o Agree daily records with the contractor's site staff.
o Witness the testing of materials & workmanship.
o Witness contractor's demonstration of equipment, testing & commissioning.
o Check about drawings as prepared by the contractor.
o Conduct the Site Surveys & services for civil works.
o Carry out the field tests i.e. Soil investigation & Compaction Tests
o Maintain Schedule & Reports
o Conduct the all related Soil, Concrete & Asphalt Laboratory Tests
o Construction of road portion/ approaches i/c earth work preparation of sub grade, lying of sub base and base.
o Make sure that any activity offered for inspection has an approved shop drawing, Method Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
o Preparing Daily, weekly and Monthly Reports as per the Organizations Standard format.
