Project Management

 Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals for each and assign individual responsibilities.
 Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking if team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
 Bring about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.
 Implement various operations through proper coordination. Develop effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants.
 Plan and analyze assigned project, establish schedules and project parameters and set procedures to accomplish objectives, involving complex contracting applications.
 Motivate the project team and provide adequate training to subordinate team members etc in executing the project successfully.
 Work with the stakeholders of the project and outsiders to keep them updates about the progress of the project keeping the self well versed with every minute detail of the project.
 Examine and review contracts and estimate by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans ensuring compliance with internal contracting processes.
 Meet with contractors to discuss scope of project; budgets; performance; and close-out.
 Prepare sub-contractor request for quotation’s including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; bonding requirements; and billing schedule of values.
 Create and makes revisions to project schedules including: generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, CPM Analysis; and Histogram Analysis.
 Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
 Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.
 Responsible for the successful transition of warranty to the service process.

Lead Logistics Operations (Crude Oil, Condensate & LPG) at MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V.

Responsible for the transportation of around 25000 barrels per day of Crude Oil / Condensate alongwith 510 Metric Tons of LPG from processing facility to various refineries.

Emergency Response Planning

 Coordinate the PIA’s Emergency Response Planning (ERP) Division since its establishment in March-2005.
 In this role I have been in touch with the ERP Team of the head office for keeping the ERP mechanism intact.
 Schedule and organize participative trainings and awareness sessions for volunteers.
 Establish and maintain a fully equipped ERP Coordination Room at the Islamabad station. Responsible for its smooth functioning for any Emergency Response.
 Organize full-scaled emergency exercises annually at Islamabad Airport in liaison with all the agencies concerned.
 Coordinated effectively Emergency Response activities during an unfortunate crash at Multan in the year 2006.
 Led the PIA time which helped at the crash site and at the airport during the Airblue’s Airbus crash in Islamabad

Quality Assurance / Control

 Develop objectives and goals for the Quality Assurance and Quality control functions that are aligned to organizational strategic organizational goals.
 Create and document a QA programme that covers all key operations and support activities.
 Incorporate best practices from the industry in the Quality Assurance programme to facilitate achievement of high quality standards.
 Help various operational and support functions to implement the QA programme by providing guidance and expertise on aspects such as setting departmental goals, adapting standards to suit the function and methods of measurement.

 Identify training and development needs within the company through job analysis and descriptions, performance appraisal schemes and regular consultation with department heads and managers.
