Preparing the sub-contractor prequalification submittal, material submittal, method statements submitted to the consultant and obtain the approval of the same.
Experienced in procurement, submittal, execution and documentation of projects to obtain pearl rating for projects as per the requirements of Estidama in Abu Dhabi (LEED Equivalent)
Lead a team of draftsman in the preparation of shop drawings and construction drawings for approval from consultant and local authorities for all civil, architectural and structural shop drawings etc.
Prepare method statements for the various activities of the Project
Very good knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract.
Raise Request for Information (RFI) / Technical Query (TQ) to clarify discrepancies
Raising notice of variation to time and cost.
Draft contractual correspondences involving Client, Engineer and Sub-contractors.
Knowledge and experience in the procedures of preparing as-built drawings, hand-over documents, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals of project, testing commission reports etc.
Preparing of rebar bending schedule and shop drawings as per BS8666 & BS 4466.
Monitor and update the progress of actual progress of works at site by
using Primavera.
Monitoring and execution of commercial and residential high rise buildings.
Exposure in structural designing of Industrial buildings, Residential buildings and water tanks in R.C.C. and structural steel.
Evaluation of quantities from drawings and estimation of prices for the project cost, preparation of Bill of Quantities from Construction Drawings.

• Prepared rebar schedules& shop drawings for production of factory cut & bent reinforcement at the company factory for several projects - Water tanks at Grain Al Ayesh & Abu Al Abyad, Chlor-Alkali plant in Mussaffah Free Zone, Conference Palace Hotel, Diwan Underpass & Jabal Underpass in Al Ain.
• Coordinated with the factory & site and ensured on time production & delivery of all materials.
• As a Site Engineer, mobilized & led a team of foremen, fabricators, welders, sign makers & painters and executed the contract for erection & maintenance of road furniture& signage for Dubai Municipality - gantries & cantilevers for traffic & information signs, road markings, sign cleaning and painting of all traffic related items on the road (Aug 2001 to Nov 2001)
• Participated in the production of cut & bent rebar products to meet client requirements. Analysed contract/construction drawings and prepared bar bending schedules (BBS) & shop drawings on AutoCAD.
• Projects: Apartment & Retail Complex, Karama Dubai (Belhasa Contracting Co), Skywalk Towers, Clock Tower Dubai (ECC), University effluent treatment plant, Sharjah (Al Futtaim Tarmac), Sharjah Cement Factory, Sharjah (Dutco Balfour Beatty)
• Leading a team of foremen, charge-hands and labour and executed works like reinforcement, concreting, block work, carpentry, ceramic tiling, false ceilings and painting etc. Supervise the MEP Works in the project.
• Prepared shop drawings on AutoCAD and followed up with consultant for approval of drawings & material submittals.
• Determined project costs by quantity take-off from drawings and estimating prices.
