Manager - HR & Talent Development Manager

The Middle East & Africa Division has presence over 40+ countries in the MEA region with a product portfolio of more than 200 products across 700skus, being sourced over from 16 Co-packers and 20 Heinz Affiliates across the globe.

Located in Dubai, reporting directly to the VP & MD - Heinz Africa Middle East & Turkey and functionally into the Zonal HR Head overseeing the strategic HR function as a member of the Regional Top Management Team in the Business Unit. Also leading a strong regional HR organization, managing 6 direct reports. Total coverage of 80 employees & 150 contractual staff scattered across Middle East, Africa, Turkey and Pakistan with annual revenue of US$ 150 million.

Key Responsibilities:
• To lead all strategic HR activities across 10 countries including key markets of Nigeria,
Pakistan, Turkey, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Levant, Morocco & UAE.
• To lead all HR and communications aspects of Restructuring post Heinz acquisition by
3 G & Berkshire Hathaway.
• To lead Zero Base Budgeting for all Fixed spend as a Budget Owner for my BU.
• To lead Management by Objectives (MBO) program as the MBO Lead in my BU.
* To engage with key stakeholders in the Organization to assess leadership pipelines
and identify high potential employees and implement the Talent Management Program
• To cascade new HR policies, Vision, Values & Programs consistent with global
standards of the new owners.
• As member of the Global Talent Council, represent my region to share my expertise and best practices for my region (Africa & Middle East) in support of the Heinz Global Talent Philosophies.

Incentive scheme, Performance Management Development, People Organizational
Plans, 360 Feedback Program, 9 Box, Talent Dashboards, MBTI and Employee
Satisfaction Surveys.
• Learning & Development - Conducted Skill Gap Analysis, developed & implemented
comprehensive Training Calendar based on ‘Need Based’ trainings (in house &
external trainers).
• Organizational Effectiveness & Culture - through Employee Engagement surveys,
Grievance handling, exit interviews & designed Employee Motivation & Retention
Schemes.
• Ethics & Compliance - Ensure that the Heinz Ethics Compliance and Code of Conduct

Lipton Factory Jebel Ali is a manufacturing site of Unilever Gulf FZE which is a subsidiary company of Unilever Arabia. Lipton Factory Jebel Ali is involved in blending, packaging, storage and distribution of premium grade tea products.
