I am a professional Arabic speaking translator /interpreter, with BA in the English language and its literature from Sudan, Post-graduate Diploma in Translation Studies from South Africa, accreditation as legal translator/interpreter in UAE courts and an 18-years’ experience in the field of translation/interpreting and journalistic writing. My career covers work with NGOs in East Africa, Southern African regions and Arab Gulf countries. I also have a good experience in working with NGOs mainly in the fields of education and humanitarian work. I have so far done interpreting/translation projects at conferences throughout the African continent and the GCC region, for prestigious institutions such as Al-Jazeera Media Network, Pan-African Parliament, International Telecommunications Union (ITU) to name but a few.
I’m currently working as freelancer, willing to collaborate with quality oriented clients.
