Objective:

The role is to develop, coach and implement required EHS & Sustainability systems & challenges for efficient business continuity in light of evolving EHS & Sustainability measures in the apparel & textile industry across the globe.
Develop and execute sustainability and environmental projects like ensuring environmental friendly waste disposal, Zero Waste to Landfill, Carbon/Waste/Utility Reduction and ensure a positive social and environmental impact

Responsibilities/Duties

•To lead on the formulation and implementation of sustainability strategies and policies for US Group
•Cultivate a sustainability and environmental mindset in the organization
•Formulate EHS Management system within the organization with an aim to improve social compliance
•To lead the development and operation of the US Group environmental management systems including setting standards
•Develop partnerships and relationships with relevant organisations.
•Ensure USG is compliant with environmental legislation and achieve environmental sustainability targets through innovations and operations improvement
•Advice line management on safety and environmental matters in light of customers and legal requirements
•Develop annual HSE targets for the organization and create awareness amongst the on-ground project/operations team
•Plan and conduct management audits to ensure compliance of EHS & Sustainability challenges
•Ensure execution of line management training on EHS management systems
•Monitor, track & achieve Sustainability challenges within the organization
•Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
