• Manage customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production, labs, regulatory, and quality ensuring that company customer service creates competitive advantage in marketplace including resolving critical customer complaints.

• Develop and maintain transportation system on domestic and international freight that ensures business needs are met.
• Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics and customer service department budgets.
• Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials. Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles.

• Experience in formulating logistics. Ability for ensuring scheduled goods and services are delivered within specified time frames.

• Collaborative experience in agreeing and preparing contracts with suppliers
• Confer with Management heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with other functions.
• Review and classify the inventory based on movement and use of material (e.g. fast moving, slow moving, dormant, obsolete, capital, insurance etc) and take action to control / liquidate as per the company's guidelines and policy.
• Have worked experience in ERP applications like SAP
• Responsible for Material Master Creation in SAP for new line item.
• Conduct periodic review to ensure all inventories and warehouse related paperwork is being completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Optimize the stock levels of items in accordance with inventory stocking policy and in Consultation with users, in order to optimize the overall inventory holding and achieve the set targets without affecting plant operations.
• Ensure that proper identification and traceability methods / means for the inventory are established.
• Comply with all occupational health, safety and environmental procedures of both the company and of client while working.
• Report and document the activities carried out in line with the documentation requirements of the company.
• Report all incidents, accidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions and acts to the Supervisors/Safety Officer.
Worked with Chemical Industry during 1998 to 2004. Scope of working included purchase the chemicals, emulsifiers, from China and local market. Plant maintenance related replacement electrical and mechanical parts. Developed source agreements that contributed to increased profits by standardizing contracts and improving purchasing programs. Negotiate long-term agreements and programs with key vendors, generating $3M in annual savings
